Nichol's is now in a SUV, and they are leaving the scene with him. CNN, has his attorney on the phone now.

Thank God they have him! :woohoo:

I hope they watch their guns around him

CNN: Fulton Co sheriff's office says he gave up without a struggle. He had taken a woman hostage and she got away.

I wonder if he knew the woman he took hostage at the apartment complex today? or if it was just a random thing. It is her lucky day to survive it - he is a sadistic rapist & is obviously not afraid of killing.

I can't wait to hear her story.

Concerned,

Nichols was captured in Gwinnett County after a brief hostage situation. Live shot of Nichol's currently on TV

He was captured 3.5 miles from my home. No wonder I couldn't sleep last night...the creep was in the neighborhood.

I can not believe that that took him alive, I really thought there would be a shoot out.

same here....thought he'd go down in a "blaze of glory"....

Last night, Nichols' lawyer said that he would no longer represent him. I doubt Nichols will find a willing lawyer in the Atlanta area. I recommend that he contact Mark Geragos. I am sure that MG will show up and pronounce that Nichols is innocent of these killings and MG will soon identify the REAL perpetrator.

OMG, Concerned, Thank God, you are OK. I am sure it was a very scary night for alot of people in the Atlanta area last night.

Casshew, according to news reports, the female was a friend of Nichols.

Yikes CP! That is scary..

I have a friend that lives in Gwinnett County as well, and shes also releived but shaky that he was in her area.

Sad another lost their life before he gave up :truce:

i heard him say that also....he was at the scene of the "capture" today, talking to geraldo....said he'll continue to defend him on the rape case...ooooook :loser:

FBI Press conference at 1:30pm

I think that the rape case is going to be placed on a back burner.....way way back!!

His a** is grass...he is in federal trouble now, he's killed a U.S. Customs Agent and a judge...not sure if the judge is a federal case, but for sure the agent is. The good thing about this is that he will get the needle within a few years rather than years and years. I'm so glad he is in custody and can't ever hurt anyone else again.

I just wish that we didn't have to waste tax payers dollars for a trial.

  • #179
They have now released the Federal agent's name, David Wilham

Really?? I wonder what changed his mind. I guess somebody has to do it, but I know I would not be able to defend somebody who just killed my colleagues.
