This has shocked the residents of Carroll, Paulding and Douglas counties. The Brocks (and Sarah) have ties all over those areas, so there is a lot of info coming out.
It's just so sad. I hope that Kristin was asleep, so that she didn't see her own daughter aiming a gun at her :'(

How terribly sad. Based on what we knew about how the house was accessed, the rural location, the dogs, and the fact others in the home didn’t wake up. I suspected it would be someone they knew

But not their own daughter. Suspected a boyfriend of the teen, but not her involvement.

My thoughts are with this family. The arrest of Sarah doubled down on the effect of this horrible nightmare for them all.

I am not defending the daughter or condoning her actions IN ANY WAY, but this statement in the article makes me wonder what may have been going on long before it got to this point.

BBM I took this to refer to what she has been up to SINCE the murders, which probably complicated LE's attempts to investigate the murders.

Sarah Grace had posted something on her TikTok about how her mom had struggled a lot with financial hardship at a point earlier in Sarah's childhood and had difficulty supporting her. I assumed it was prior to her mother meeting and marrying James. Don't know if SGP was being authentic about that info re Kristin's tough earlier times or if it was just her being dramatic as usual for her poor me tiktok videos.

I think what the accused was going through was her parents setting boundaries and rules and she didn't like it. JMO SGP comes across as spoiled and entitled.

Both are idiots. And this isn't the first time that a teen girl has decided to go full-on antisocial/Evil in a situation where there's a boyfriend.

Those two little kids still left behind - it's so sad. Daughter may be protecting BF at the moment.

Another great post. Exactly right. No remorse whatsoever and no understanding of morality or law. The fundraising part is gruesome.

Looks like the warrant/charges were dismissed on 2/21/2025 because Kristin was deceased as of 2/20/2025. So I guess the charges were still active? (Document preview from PeachCourt so this is the best copy I can make without paying for a copy.)
