I live in Florida how can I go by doing that
I expect Roselvr will be back here on the thread or contact you by pm to answer your question, but in the meantime, hope you can view the link below from NamUs that outlines the protocol. To me, it sounds like the DNA collection kit could be sent to law enforcement where you live, once they agree to assist, etc. But Roselvr can probably fill in the details for you.

Your grandmother (your mom's mom) is still living, correct? Do you think she would be willing to give a sample as well? Does she also live in Florida?
Sorry it took me so long to get back here. I had a flooded basement yesterday; before that; my hub had come home with furniture from his grandma that passed on Valentines day. It's needed a lot of TLC as the wood is very dry. I just sent you a friend request on FB. Will be easier to PM there. Once I get your mom entered; I will let the case worker know that you can provide a sample. LE will come to you. If your grandma is interested in giving DNA; LE near her would take the sample. She doesn't have to go anywhere. If she can not do it; it's no big deal.
I asked my friend Carl K to make an age progression for your mom. Carl is the unidentified person's mod here at WS
Thank you!
I CNT see the image that's attached you'll have to see it to me on fb and I'll be able to see it..

Roselvr, what a splendid idea to ask CarlK to do the age progression! Thank you both to you and to CarlK!
Lataviahughes, I know when you get to see the image it will be a powerful moment, seeing what your mother may look like now, if she is still living. Hugs to you. CarlK does great work with his images, in my opinion. He is also the person who earlier helped me with the online yearbook search. Even though he didn't find a picture of your mom, I appreciated him taking the time to try. I'm still planning to look at some actual yearbooks in Macon, when I get the time and opportunity for the project, to see if I can't locate a few years that weren't available online.
I know she doesn't have any photos of her mom so wanted to make sure Carl had time to work his magic. I can't imagine how shocking it is for her to see
Jack Mcory friend he use to change with is in the hospital do u guys think I should call and see if he knows anything
I guess that has to be your decision. Do you know this person at all -- have you ever spoken with him? How critical is his condition?
My opinion only, but I THINK if I were in your shoes, I might give it a try.
Wanting to bump Janice's thread up, and also wanting to say to you, Lataviahughes, that I thought so much of you as Mother's Day approached this year and was planning to make a special Mother's Day post here for you and your mom -- but then I developed major problems with my eyes/contact lenses. I really couldn't see to even read at Websleuths for several days, much less try to post. The situation is slowly on the mend and I just have gotten back to posting a little in the last few days. Just want you to know that I WAS thinking about you!! I was feeling grateful, too, that you had CarlK's age progression of your mom as kind of a Mother's Day memento, at least.
Looking forward to hear about any progress being made by anyone!
I have had great eye sight all of my life until the last year; the connective tissue disorder that I have has made my eyes really decline (IMO). Night driving stinks; can not read my cell without glasses. I can not imagine what you're going through. Hope you heal quickly!
Well, when it rains, it pours -- first the eye thing with me, then a respiratory ailment that sent the family member for whom I'm caregiver to the hospital (home now) and knocked me really low as well (getting better now). But haven't forgotten Janice nor Lataviahughes!
Checking the NamUs link Roselvr posted, looks as if it still isn't fully active yet...?
