Yes, I agree. When I saw the grandmother nod her head as the mother was talking it seemed as if she was approving that her daughter was following the script. JMO
Thankfully, I didn’t raise a murderer. So I never had a script to give.

Tuesday marked one week since the Chatham County Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) began searching a landfill for Quinton Simon’s remains.
...
Crews have been working weekdays from sunrise to around 5 p.m., searching one specific area of the landfill, pile by pile.
...
“Searchers will move through the debris placed on the search deck, looking for evidence. Once that debris is cleared, it will be placed on the search deck, and then removed, and then replaced with another section of material. This will not be quick, this will not be easy, and the outcome is uncertain,” said Will Clarke, with the FBI.
BBM
Please let there be answers. I am white knuckling my faith in this landfill investigation. My heart and head are at odds today.

I think she is doing the Cyndi Anthony mode. She knows that her daughter killed her grandchild but she has decided to support her daughter. JMO
Cyndi Anthony and the OG Tot Mom seem tame compared to these ladies.
Grandma has been inconsistent with her public statements regarding LS. A cynical person might think the 180 is due to her fear of being legally culpable for leaving Q in LS’s care. (I’m reminded of Jessica and Daniel Groves).

I've just gotta say, this is among one of the more insane things I've ever heard a suspect say:

“I’m here. I’ve been here every day since this. I’m not running and I’m not hiding. And if something does come up that I am at fault, I will take myself to that police station,” Leilani Simon boldly told WTOC.

I mean, you murdered your son or you didn't. You know if you're at fault or not.

Agree - not very intelligent first off. Beyond that, when I watched her speak, it seemed to me she is going to claim she has no memory of what happened. Some sort of Dissociative Amnesia or the like - plea in the making. JMO~

Yes, I believe that's what she's saying. "I may have done this, but I don't remember."

Which jibes with things we've heard to that effect.

It won't work.

“Every day that they don’t find something is good for me.“ Billie Dunn, mother of Hailey Dunn.

Ughh ... that statement ^^^ lives in infamy, eleven years later.

"In my experience, this is not the statement of someone innocent," tweeted Jennifer Coffindaffer, a former FBI agent and crime analyst. "She awaits the proof…"

The interview comes days after Simon and her mother were spotted at a trendy Savannah bar taking shots of Patron and flirting with staff, despite the child's disappearance, according to a New York Post report – where they allegedly ran up a $300 tab as protesters demonstrated outside their home.

Ummmm, Leilani, you won't have to take yourself to the police station. I am sure they will give you a ride. Hell, if not, call an Uber. I'll pay for it. JMO

I get it, I'm upset too. But the surrounding neighbors did nothing to deserve disruption of their peace and quiet.

These folks need to go home and read their voter pamphlets, that's where they can affect some real change in their community.

Well, exactly.

Lol yes.

It was definitely a Patrick Frazee moment.

And as you note, it'd be laughable if it were any kind of funny -- that she's somehow only at fault if they find something.

I'm guessing L isn't very good at logic, even on her more sober days.

I know this might not sit well with others, but this very first video sent my antenna up . Something about Gma behavior seemed odd/off to me.

JMO
The jaw?

  • #499
The way she is moving her jaw around when she talks, looks like someone on cocaine (IMO).
Exactly!
Haven’t seen wobble jaw like that since the 80’s

We call it gurning. Sometimes it has a natural cause. Sometimes not.
