state willing to release but would like to make sure LS agrees to who the remains be released to. If remains are released then no further testing can be done to them for appeal purposes. LS agrees to the release of Q's remains and would like them to be released to Paul Simon's custody.

Laws can be brutal around this kind of thing. I've seen it with other parents who murder their kids, or spouses who murder their partners. Sometimes the law protects their rights to determine what happens to their victim's remains above all common sense and decency.

Leilani doesn't actually get a say.

But the original defense attorneys put the hold on the release. The issue I guess is about appeal. In case there's further testing.

state: drugs didn't make her dislike Q. the defense witnesses were self serving. she murdered him. The jury found that she did that.

Lots of people have tough upbringing. Lots of people struggle with drugs.

LS's family has made a farce of this hearing. That they were even allowed to intimate the guilt of anyone other than LS should not have been allowed in addition to all the other delusional accusations made. I'm just disgusted with this. Lock her up and throw away the key.
