Watching AS now. You can just see the look in her eye when she realizes she's about to be caught in the lie. Almost a look of "how dare you ask me these questions". JMO

I wonder if they have this channel in the Dekalb County jail?

Keeping in mind that she and her lawyer did ot have the evidence that was coming shared with them, so she is like a deer in headlights!

OT, Anadarko, love your name as Grace Under Fire was my faaaaavorite show and I loved Holly Hunters character. Hated that show endig!

It's amazing that they did not consider her a suspect in the beginning. I thought it was standard practice to at least consider the spouse whenever there is a murder or suspicious death. It really does look like the Dunwoody police dropped the ball. I can't believe they were even planning a news conference to say she wasn't a suspect :sheesh:

ITA!!! We all suspected her involvement the first day!!!

Watching also.
Amazing, I just realised absolutely no objections from the defense.
I think they wanted to ask Andrea the exact same questions.

Too bad she can't watch herself on tv in jail.

I think they "tricked" Andrea.
They made her feel safe, not being under suspicion.

But perhaps her cellmates are watching to get to better know the newbie on the block!

Too funny that you mention how are few, if any, objections especially considering all the sidebars going on with the Kathleen Savio trial which is also on IS.

It is going to be interesting on what her bond hearing will result in. Will she get bond?...as I assume her charges are bondable, but alas and alack she cannot use the insurance proceeds anymore as the feds froze her assets!

The impression I had was that the police initially thought the murder night have something to do with Rusty's business dealings, he had extensive business contacts and it seems like the policy spent a lot time chasing down all those connections.

I watched AS's testimony yesterday and I have to agree with the deer-in-the-headlights comments. It's obvious to me that, in trial preparation with her, the prosecution figured out she was involved and decided to let her walk the primrose path. The best result for Heme would have been if the jury had bought the insanity defense, which they didn't. I thank goodness every day that they came up with "guilty but mentally ill" because it allowed Heme time to have extensive counseling. I'm sure part of the timing of AS' indictment was his mental condition once out of her malignant clutches.

As for the insurance money, I hope that when all is said and done, it goes to the children in the custody of Rusty's family.

Here is a terrific article which sums up Andrea's current situation:

My favorite part is here, since I didn't know this before.

Also on Aug. 3, Dunwoody attorney Esther Panitch filed a motion in Fulton County Superior Court on behalf of Rusty Sneiderman’s family seeking emergency custody of their two grandchildren, Sophia and Ian.

The three petitions submitted by Panitch that day established her as the counsel for the family members, added Rusty’s brother Steven and his wife Lisa to the grandparents’ lawsuit for visitation rights and naming of a guardian for the children, and asked for the emergency action to turn primary custody of the children over to the Sneiderman’s.

As part of the court filing, the ethics of Andrea’s parents in assuming custody of the grandchildren is challenged on the basis that Andrea’s brother, Todd Greenberg, according to the document, participated in erasing material from Andrea’s personal computer prior to the Dunwoody Police being able to examine it.

Woah! She is, shall we say, hostile?!

No way in heck would I leave my child at the same place my husband was shot. No freaking way.

Yes, Carolina Moon,
That is very important now! The DP were not looking at Andrea and that gave Todd time to delete incrimating information from Andrea's computer and text messages....damage control.
What did HER family know, and when did they know it?
Andrea stated already on the stand that she called her mother and father in the car on the way to the daycare...Did she tell them Rusty was shot? Will they be ask to take the stand in AS trial?

In watching AS on the stand you see a dramatic contrast to her reactions and the calm, calm manner of Attorney Don Gerry. He is excellant! and he let's her talk, and rant the more the better!

I don't know who all she called prior to getting to the hospital. One I do remember was that she called Rusty's father he'd been shot and someone else.

I think it was her best friend. Can't recall her name at the moment.

ETA: Just found her name. It was Shayna Citron. IIRC, this is the friend that AS stopped and hugged on the way out of the courtroom after the friend finished testifying.

Ah, yes! Then she wispered a few threats in her ear which got Andrea bounced from the courtroom for the remainder of the trial. I call that part, the Judas Kis.

And now quite a change from yesterday to today. Especially watching this all after we know she's in jail. From shocked to belligerent.....

I hate that it ended, too! They had a pretty good cast of characters on that show. Wonder if we'll ever get to see it in reruns?

I recall she mention calling her parents on the way to the daycare. There had to be communications since they came from their home in Roswell and met her at the daycare.

  • #1,397
yes, she also called a coworker and told him that Rusty had been shot. 3 people (FIL, Shayna, male coworker) testified that Andrea told them rusty had been shot before she got to the hospital. This is AFTER Andrea had testified she didn't know he'd been shot or that he was dead until she was told at the hospital. She was combative and insistent that she didn't know Rusty's fate before then.

Then. . 3 witnesses confirmed she was lying.

Remember that Shayna was not supposed to testify at the trial however, she saw Andrea's testimony the first day and her say she didn't know Rusty had been shot until doctors told her at the hospital.

Shayna knew Andrea had told her around 930am and before she'd even got to the daycare center. Shayna and her lawyer called the DA after Andrea's first or 2nd day of testimony and asked that she be allowed to testify. THAT is how she got on the stand.

Wow! did not know that. That says alot for Shayna and her desire for the truth to come out.

Yes, so don't let the AS Supporters fool you. They're all over Facebook saying that if we "really knew Andrea" we would know how devastated she was over the murder and that she's 100% innocent. They project like everyone who knows Andrea knows she is innocent. this is certainly NOT the case and Shayna is proof of that.
