Remember that Shayna was not supposed to testify at the trial however, she saw Andrea's testimony the first day and her say she didn't know Rusty had been shot until doctors told her at the hospital.

Shayna knew Andrea had told her around 930am and before she'd even got to the daycare center. Shayna and her lawyer called the DA after Andrea's first or 2nd day of testimony and asked that she be allowed to testify. THAT is how she got on the stand.

Can you imagine being a friend of hers in the court when all this chit came out unexpectadly! There were quite a few supporters day one...wonder how many there were after her testimony as I am sure most were like the friend who came forward.:banghead::banghead:

makes me think of the FCA trial where I am originally fom on WS, and if only that family told the truth in that one and came forward when needed for the prosecution!

Well I am hooked, and will most def. be watching next week. Hopefully TRU TV will air it all day Monday, since the DP trial won't be going on Mondays.

Oh and the prosecution also has proof that Andrea gave Hemy Rusty's day schedule, and something about a path behind their home, for him to get away.
Who knows what Hemy has told the prosecution after he was convicted, and what proof he has.

I hope they have proof - I hope they are not just assuming (rightly so, but I want more).

My hubby and I are glued to the TV this week, initially getting updates on Drew Peterson trial.

I have never seen him so interested in one of my courts cases. He said he would just like to grab her and shake the crap out of her! lol

Shout out to all the Anthony case friends! :websleuther:

I know! She is not likable at all. And she repeatedly tells us how nice she is and how everybody likes her. Man, I would LOVE to be in her jail cell right now to observer her. I am completely fascinated by her.

When the defense was asking AS about RS' job history, I was wondering where they were going. I'm curious if they were trying to show she was frustrated with his inability to keep a job. Of course, he was a smart man, had made lots of money (they live in a $900k house and have it paid down to half), but he starts one thing and then leaves it. Was terminated from a couple of jobs.

There was that moment when they were going back and forth about her comment to LE that RS said she didn't "have" to work and the comment about RS wanting to support the family. She was quite snippy about the semantics.

Did she know HN was in dire financial straits? Or did she see him as a very successful, older, brilliant man who was more in line with her goals? Has it ever been said what HN's salary/bonus was? I would assume Dir of Ops at GE (probably for a division though - no the entire corp?) would have to be at LEAST $150 base and maybe ability to make $50 bonus? Or am I way off?

Abbie, in communication with another person who was previously on IS during the juror 13 interviews and she is driving back to the courthouse on MONDAY for an interview with Vinnie as the segment on Monday is to be about prosecution mis-steps. Therefore I am connecting the dots and think that they will stick to their 1-3 schedule to talk about the Peterson case and not do all day with the Schneiderman case. :moo:

Agree with he would be making at least one fifty, and these days bonus might be more likely stock options with ops position at Director level. I do not recall the salary coming out in the previous trial.

http://m.thecrier.net/mobile/news/article_d0ffa500-e61f-11e1-8e9d-001a4bcf887a.html Not sure if this has been posted . A good review from a local paper.

It has information in it I have not seen elsewhere and is a great summary. I did not realize that they are now claiming that her brother erased files as I had thought from the trial that she gave her password to her brother for Hemy to have. Thinking now that question by the prosecutor to get Andrea under oath that she gave her password to her brother is being used in the family visitation litigation now that I consider what I know, and that is not information that the state gave the reporter.

Can't LE still access info from the laptop? I thought they would still be able to even if data had been erased?

Thanks, I had not seen this, will read it.

Do you know if the same prosecutors will prosecute Andrea?

Her bond hearing is just next week, so no assignments for the trial yet.

Correct! That is why I highlighted that this comment was from the civil family stuff, and their point is only that the brother erased it. That is separate from if law enforcement said erased and cannot be retrived. We know from the FCA case that they can indeed get info from the laptop. Unfortunately no sunshine laws like that case where we will know before trial the actual contents. I think thay had more than they needed at Hemy trial that will come out for her trial.

ETA sorry for all typos but I do a lot on nook and cannot get to where I need to correct with fat fingers so my posts usually have typos!

Thanks Noor! I'm only 5 minutes in and this lady is a piece of work! Now I understand why the jury forewoman said something t the effect that she watched her the whole time wondering why she was not on trial. Also she didn't try to look like a grieving widow at all! Didn't even try!

Well she had that faux crying breakdown at once point, the IS Body language expert analyzed it and said it was "very bad acting".

LOL

Really got pulled in last week because I could not believe what I was seeing and hearing from AS! Fascinating, the way she lies and gets all righteous about it. Wondering what you sleuthers have been saying about her antics all along. Do you think she practiced some of those comebacks in the mirror? Do you think she gives away signs of lying in her facial movements as many liars do? She's quite masterful in her control it seems. Riveting behavior, never seen the likes of it coming from a grieving widow.

I feel like they have the notes.not sure if forensics found them or maybe even Hemy's wife.

I have no idea why AS and her family were eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner. They had some $900,000+ in their checking account, FGS!!!!

Maybe neither she nor Rusty were the nurturing/ cooking type? Maybe MRS. Sneiderman liked to use the peanut butter scenario to publicly humiliate her husband as "not a good provider" which we know is not true. I feel pretty sure no one in their sphere knew what their bank balance was and we would never have known had she not decided to, IMO, knockoff her husband in favor of another man who was, apparently, a MUCH WORSE provider, poor manager of personal financial resources, lousy husband, lousy father, and mentally unbalanced.

So.......just what DID she see in him? IMO, an ego boost. Deadly powerful void she had there. We might all take a clue and watch out for entitled narcissists. Who would have EVER thought she could KILL before she actually did? Until that moment, she most probably was just known to be a cold, whining, spoiled brat. IMO
