Yes, and it was a big job.

Hanging in here and checking in every 18 minutes....thanks to the poster that put that little thought in my head!

Guess my prediction of after lunch isn't working out so well.

* I was wrong also, lol.

Beyond the fact that she told three peeps, and texted another that Rusty was shot before she should have known, there is another reason I believe she knew what Hemy was going to do.
I have mulled this over and over in my mind. Preschool started at 9AM, right? So I'm guessing Rusty was there about 8:50, and if all went well he should have been back home shortly after 9.
Andrea was notified at 9:30 that she needed to come to the preschool ASAP, but that her son was fine. Since her her husband was the one last at the preschool, and the last one to see their son, and in her mind, he should have been at home by then..............how could she POSSIBLY have not phoned her husband?
I can think of many emergencies that could happen at a preschool other than thinking out of the blue, my husband is shot and dying.
Beyond not calling Rusty, I can't imagine phoning my parents, my BROTHER, many friends, ect., for something that may not even involve my family and husband.. And I can't imagine my brother, (if I had one) taking off work and rushing to the preschool for something that COULD be many possibilities, beyond Rusty being injured. And even IF she thought Rusty may have been injured, how did she know someone didn't run over his foot, or someone rear endded him, or a miriad of other possibilities?
My parents may come, if they were near and both retired, but more than likely, I would just keep them posted. The brother taking off work really bothers me.
It makes me think that not only Andrea knew more than she told, but possibly her family, as well.
What do you guys think?

PS She told her mom that something had happened to Rusty, even though the preschool didn't mention Rusty at all.

and even more damning... why on god's polluted earth would she call HEMY of all people before calling anyone else?

Like ADA James said, why would she call her "stalked, her sexual harasser"? Answer: because he was his coochie pappa, that's why.

What? THe commentators on the WAT livestream just said that she tweeted that the defense team is packing up to leave for the day, and they spent 5 minutes discussing what that means? I'm confused....lol!

No - you shouldn't be confused. Since WS is being ridiculous today :pullhair: It is taking forever to post any updates. So they are being put up slowly..... The WAT lives feed is clearly faster than I can post tweets!

I am also suspicious of the family and their knowledge of events. I thought it was very strange when the mom testified that she just got out of the car, put Andrea into her car, and they drove off to Andrea's house. It was very strange. And the brother, I agree, is very weird that he was there.

This is getting to be long....I can't imagine if this was a murder charge, how long the jury would take! I think prosecution made a VERY GOOD MOVE not charging her with murder, she would have been found not guilty and they would have no other chance to re-try her. If it's taking them this long to even determine whether or not she lied about the affair.....

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial

Reports that attorneys are gathering in the #AndreaSneiderman courtroom. Could it be a verdict?

Trial Diva Sharee™ @TrialDivasS

There was word of some movement in courtroom, not sure if it means much yet...we shall see #AndreaSneiderman

So does anyone know whether the defense team has indeed packed up and actually left the courthouse for the day? That is what the commentators were saying.

Man, I would love for there to be a verdict. I'm so sick of all of this AS mess but cannot look away!

Yes, I do detest her that much. She should be hetting life in prison like Hemy. She's as mentally ill as he claimed to be!

MOO

First I can't post, then it double posted. Someone has broken WS and I want someone punished, lol!

Confirmation that attys came in, put stuff on tables and left. No verdict yet! #TheTrialDivas #AndreaSneiderman

Me thinks this is what's up:

They are going to / analyzing / verdict-ing (lol) count by count. There's 13 of those. It will take a while.

I was way off on my guess of a verdict before lunch! :waiting: I guess it is good that they are being thorough. :sigh:

I tried finding you tube video from the HN trial without much success. However, I was able to read short entires about the testimony from Dunwoody site. A Det. Maldanado spoke with AS there and she was not crying nor did she ask to see her husband or where he had been taken. A pediatrician performed CPR at the scene until the EMTs arrived. The EMTs took over CPR and transported RS to nearest Level 1 Trauma Center. An ER MD and his team worked on RS for 30 minutes and then called the code. (Ceased CPR) When ER MD informed AS of her husbands death, she asked for a child psychologist to tell her children that their father was dead. ER MD stated that was a highly unusual request and very odd.

In this trial, it seems like every witness called by the defense is CYAing IMO. Formato from Dunwoody Prep now can't remember stuff? This is bizarre. What hold does AS have on these people? Or are they just too afraid to tell what really happened?

What happened to telling the truth? The Prosecutor was right to call AS a liar and those that lied for her liars too. JMV

I'm wondering if the TV/media coverage has anything to do with how long juries deliberate...for example, I think it would be natural that if they know the trial is high-profile, they are going to be extra extra cautious and go over every single detail.

At the point Andrea and her mother were told to go home, nobody knew which hospital Rusty had been taken to. BTW, he wasn't taken to the nearest trauma center.

RSBM:

While true that Rusty wasn't taken to ATL's Level 1 Trauma Center [Grady Memorial Hospital], he WAS taken to an EXCELLENT facility [Atlanta Medical Center] which is situated about 2 miles from Grady, and frequently serves as trauma backup to Grady if that ER is near capacity or on divert status. Based upon that longstanding protocol, it does not surprise me that police at Dunwoody Prep didn't know specifically which hospital he was taken to. Also, there are 3 other hospitals near Dunwoody Prep, but none of them would have been prepared to treat a patient in extremis from multiple GSW, particularly with Grady and Atlanta Medical Center in such proximity (15 miles or so from the scene).

I suspect the decision re: which ER Rusty would present to was made while the ambulance was en route toward the facilities, and made based upon his clinical situation. Should there have been any indication in his condition's response to EMS resuscitation efforts that he might, in fact, be "salvageable" he would have gone to Grady. IIRC, the ER doctor who treated Rusty at AMC testified at Hemy's trial that Rusty was gone and pretty much beyond help even before the ambulance got to Dunwoody Prep. EMS, and later the Atlanta Medical Center ER, went through multiple rounds of resuscitation protocol to give Rusty every possible chance to survive. Unfortunately, they were ultimately unsuccessful.

HTH,

Westie Mom

I have taken a self esteem course in the keeping room of the Sneidermans, and have concluded I am CERTAINLY not guilty though that was previously thought to be the case. Some crazy person did it!

That is a really great point to bring up, JJ! I wondered about the brother too. I have a brother that I am very close to, talk every day, and he would have been my first phone call if my spouse had an accident. But if I truly didn't know what that accident was, I would tell him to standby and I'd let him know what was going on. The fact that her entire family was there in a heartbeat and she was falling all over the ground leads you to the very logical assumption that she KNEW much more than she is letting on.

Though Northside is closer to Dunwoody, it is a Level 2 trauma center. Atlanta Medical Center is Level 1.

Thanks for the verification because Northside is very close to Dunwoody. FYI Nancy Grace had her twins at Northside which is known as the baby hospital in Atlanta. :)
