That is a really great point to bring up, JJ! I wondered about the brother too. I have a brother that I am very close to, talk every day, and he would have been my first phone call if my spouse had an accident. But if I truly didn't know what that accident was, I would tell him to standby and I'd let him know what was going on. The fact that her entire family was there in a heartbeat and she was falling all over the ground leads you to the very logical assumption that she KNEW much more than she is letting on.

I think during the parents' drive to Dunwoody, when the mom stated she was on the phone with Andrea for the whole drive trying to "calm her down," Andrea was acutally confiding in them what she had done or something to that effect. Maybe she truly panicked once the whole thing when down...boom, reality of it hit her that she would probably go to jail for the rest of her life for murder. That's why she was so "frantic" on the phone with her mom. Or maybe she was just putting on an act for her mom, too. I don't know. Maybe she was acting with her parents, too.

Does anyone know when sentencing would be if she's convicted?

I have taken a self esteem course in the keeping room of the Sneidermans, and have concluded I am CERTAINLY not guilty though that was previously thought to be the case. Some crazy person did it!

BBM: You mean some mentally ill person? Let's blame it on AS. Yeah, that's the ticket! It's AS fault!

MOO

And I would have never called Rusty's father until I found out what happened and where he was taken. Why would you call and say you are so, so sorry when you do not even know what the situation is??? If his Dad were 10 miles away is one thing but they were up north and unable to get to their son. I would have waited and then had someone call Rusty's parents once she arrived at the hospital. To me that seems strange to alarm them when she wasn't sure of the situation herself. I would have, however, called the nearest relative to come with me or meet me. jmo

I am not sure. I seem to remember HN was convicted right after verdict, was he not? I think the judge might be right now making his sentencing speech and adding up years per count possibilities into a yellow note pad.

Absolutely! These would be the actions of a rational person.

Not really. Assistant Professors are mostly in their late twenties early 30s, specially if they went to graduate school right after undergrad. You can earn a PhD (JD in her case) as early as 26

She's not. She's an associate professor. She won't even have tenure for a long time.

OMG...catching the early WSB news, and they just interviewed that whacko rabid friend of AS who has been all over the local media the past few weeks espousing "her" evaluation of the validity of charges, evidentiary issues, abuse of poor AS by the system, etc....Steffi??? Anyway, she was on a tirade that there is "no way this jury can be fair" - the basis of her allegations?? Jurors taking notes during Prosecution examinations of witnesses, but putting pencils down and not taking notes while Defense attorney is up!! The kicker that had her in a full lather is her report of the jury openly LAUGHING at AS Mom's testimony/impeachment of her suddenly sharp memory of things - YIPPEE!! Sounds like a jury headed in the right direction and ultimately convicting AS to me.

As an aside, I now view the earlier jury request for the replay of portions of Mom's "testimony" may have been prompted by a holdout or 2. Fascinating that as of 9 minutes ago, there has been no further request for this following the DVD player being refused for the jury room this morning.

Enjoy!

OT: Does it seem like The Trial Divas are monitoring WAT tweets and then tweeting something similar? Their lingo seems to be a hybrid of WAT originality that we have come to love so well. IMO
