Even if he doesn't get granted a new trial, he should tell investigators what she did. He can still testify against her in any future murder trial for her.

Yes b/c what if he is granted the new trial, and he testifies to everything she did?

But, still, I don't understand what he had to gain in this - he is NOT going to be found innocent, if that's what he's thinking.

I think he got the best possible result he could - guilty but insane, so he can get help with his mental problems, etc..

He is never going to be found not guilty.

*BBM*

That is my main worry. IF she can be tried it is going to have to be on the word of a man who is/was confirmed "insane".
I do not want that to be something that keeps her from having to face the music....we shall see, hopefully justice will step up in this situation :)

:( Well, so much for that angle.
Somehow, someway, this witch needs to have her very own trial (for murder).

I know Nymeria I sure was hoping Judge Adams would see it Hemys' way. That way Andrea would also get her turn at a big ole murder trial.

I guess the judge didn't see it our way! :tantrum:

Hemy shot and killed Rusty and Andrea's involvement or not does not change that fact. He will stay in prison with his murder charge. Hopefully she will someday be held responsible for whatever it was she did.

Yeah Madeleine I was not hoping Hemy would get a different ruling by having another trial.
I was hoping more things could be brought out to nail Andrea.
Just chaps my cheeks that she is going to be out and living free soon :steamed:

It is not that I think Hemy is innocent, that I wanted him to have another trial. Of course I know that Hemy did shoot Rusty! I just wanted the facts brought out about what Andrea knew and what she had Hemy do for her.

I guess I should have stated that in the beginning.

Sorry for the confusion and there was no where else to post this!

Understood, but since Andrea lied in Hemy's first trial I'm not sure what would entice her to come clean and tell the truth in any subsequent trial, especially if it implicated her in Rusty's murder.

If it's one thing we know about Andrea, it's that she lies and she's unrepentant. She'll go to her grave claiming no knowledge, IMO.

I don't understand this at all. She's been in jail less than a year. The article says she would be eligible after serving 22 months then mentions June, which would still be under a year.

Anyone?

I don't understand it either Madeleine! I wish I could explain it but I'm clueless! I'm just glad she's still locked up.

I was at work when I posted the above link so I wasn't able to view it until now. The video shows Andrea (in prison garb) sobbing "I want to go back to the life I had with Rusty!" I bet she does.....that life looks pretty charmed now, doesn't it, Andrea? Barf!
.
they mention how good she is being in prison, assisting other inmates with their resumes. She's one of the few inmates with a college degree.

i believe they are giving her credit for her house arrest from when she was arrested until the murder charges were dropped at the beginning of her trial:furious:

the woman is a repulsive human being and that's the nicest thing about her:floorlaugh:
