As an aside, I was über-disappointed that we weren't allowed to observe the State's Opening statements in the retrial via live stream (or even review them on either YouTube channel).... [emoji17] :sigh:

ETA: is there still a chance we will see the Prosecution on live stream/replay for closing, or have I already missed it? From what I heard in the @CourtChatterLive, the OS stream was started intentionally after the State. The Prosecutor is an eloquent orator, and voice for Rusty IMO. I really hope we have the opportunity to hear him again before the Jury begins their deliberations. lease:

If the same thing happens again, I'll be left thoroughly

Ok so I don't know much about this case but I read some articles. Are they saying he's insane because of his money problems??

He was an engineer at a well known company.

He had an affair.

He made a lot of money.

So I just don't see the insanity part?

To answer the question from the previous page.

Hemy was found guilty, but mentally ill. That gave him a life term in prison, once he had been treated for his mental illness. (Which seems to have been treated.)

In this trial, they want a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. In that case, he goes to a mental institution until he is deemed no danger to anyone. Then, he is free.

IMHO, I don't think he'd need much time to get stable since he is already been in treatment.

He could also be found plain old guilty.

Anyone who can give a better answer, please feel free! I'm no real lawyer.
