I am not entirely sure why, but these murders have made me personally "jumpier" than any other/s I have followed on WS. If I'm outside walking a dog at night, for instance, and something moves in the bushes...yikes! I feel kind of silly.

We have lived in our home for 20 years and I have always felt very safe. It is a very peaceful place. We have never had any problems whatsoever. A few nights ago I received a call at 1:30 am. Our next door neighbor was awakened at 1:00 am by a sound. Peeked out the window to see a man looking him in the face! The man was looking in the window! I have been freaked out since then. I literally have sheets hanging on my exterior doors that have a lot of glass!! VERY EDGY!!!

I wonder if we can make our own profiles of the killers. We are very good sleuths right?

I shared mine on thread one and it hasn't changed yet. Of course, I know absolutely nothing about profiling. But so far, everything continues to reinforce my thoughts.

We really have no idea what goes on in the night. That is why I have a big ole guard dog. He sleeps on either the front or back porch and if he barks I am up in a second. I also have a dog in the house that is not big but she is a barker. My plan is to hit the panic on the car and set off the alarm. My son just lives up a few yards. I also have pepper spray. We are in the country, but I do feel safe. It took me awhile because I moved from the city. Did your neighbor call the police? What happened? ty

Anita's Ohs tweet was from about 10:20 AM.This is the first I have read that Sheriff Sills stated that the murders were committed by someone who had or attempted to financialy gain from the crime.

In addition,Howard Sllls also implied today, if not outright stated that Russell or Shirley Dermond knew,the killer(s),well enough to open their door to them. Do we add that? MOO

Well now I am right back to someone taking out credit cads/loans in their name.
Without their knowledge.
I'll leave it alone from there. That theory accidentally grew wings last time I mentioned it.
If that turns out to be the case Sherrif Sills can track it all I'm sure.

The only way he can know this is if alarm was set. Then shut off at an odd hour and not reset.
Per the alarm system back up report.

Hey Miz. I have heard that over and over and am not sure what you wanted me to listen to again. He said opened the home to. Well, I think the back was open and probably the front. So what is the interpretation of what you think. None of this goes along with my theory. I believe it started at the dock and ended at the dock with Mr. D's body being dragged into the garage. jmo

So today we learned Russell or Shirley Dermond opened the door to the killer(s) & the killer(s) had or attempted financial gain from the crime. I appreciate your help and patience clarifying Sheriff Sills answers in todays phone interview with Vinnie Politan.:smile:
