Investigators said they believe Blombergh was killed because Evans and Herman didn't want her to take her 7-year-old daughter to Tallahassee. Blombergh went missing April 22, the same day she was planning to move back to Tallahassee, where she grew up. She had been living in Tifton since late October, family members have said.

Theo's being in jail is related to an unrelated domestic situation between his new girlfriend and the guy she cheated on him with. That all went down in FL.

I think that is the 'bucket' the charges fell under. It also listed 'kidnapping' and no one was kidnapped. I'm really not sure how all that works when they list charges.

Believe me, I had him nailed as very involved at first too. The timing of the arrest was very curious. Many news articles as well as a family member have confirmed that it is 'unrelated' to the death of Sunday. I don't want to debate it and find them all but I think if you are interested you can find many that say he was ruled out as a poi and that it is indeed unrelated.

At this point, I'm more concerned with finding a feed of the press release that was supposed to happen.

They wanted her daughter..It was as simple as that..I pity that little girl has to live with this for the rest of her life & am truly sorry her mom lost her life fighting with them over it..I wish with all my heart they both NEVER went to live there in the first place. :banghead:

Whatever these charges are really about they're very serious & he will most likely spend time in prison IF found guilty..Both of his parents will most likely get LWOP with so much evidence & a snitch..I feel for the rest of the family who have to be wondering right now how & why their whole world has been turned upside down like this.

jmo, there was some obsession with Sunday on his part which may have contributed to Ruby's jealousy?

If I have to guess I'm going to say Ruby pulled the trigger.

I wonder why Sunday and her daughter wasnt living with her family,why she staying with her in-laws? who has that little girl now? alot of this dont add up,why didnt Sundays family give her and her daughter a place to live,(from news stories seems they lived with these that killed her since oct 2009) i cant see why she wouldnt left there if she felt threaten? i hope now Sunday RIP,but my thoughts are with that little angel girl who now has no mommy,i pray LE will place this child in the right home,,,,,,Prayers for her family,and friends

The arraignment is now over

Ruby and Roy Herman Evans went before a judge Friday afternoon for their first court appearance.

The Evans' said they both understood their rights and requested an attorney.

The case will now be transferred to superior court.

Kenneth Tomlinson's appearance begins at 3pm today.

I want to know if Sunday had been raped as well. Herman really creeps me out with the way he talked about 'females spreading legs' etc so bluntly on his FB page. IF that i the case, I REALLY hope he didn't touch that little girl too.. if that didn't play into why he didn't want her leaving. I know it's a wild side thing with nothing associated to it but my worry... but I worry.

I feel so bad for Izzie in all of this. She is in the best hands she can be at this point with Sunday's family, for that I am thankful. Imagine had Theo not have snapped and she was sent to be with him. Would be another tragedy waiting to happen.

More charges are possible in connection with the death of Sunday Blombergh, officials in Tift County said.


"The investigation is ongoing," District Attorney Paul Bowden said during today's news conference. "Additional charges, and at least one additional arrest is possible."

This is so sad! I am wondering if Sunday felt at all threatened living there? Did she ever mention being scared of these people? I wonder if the ex husband will be the 4th arrested.

He also said that he had emails which would prove Ruby wanted Sunday dead. I saved some of those posts, I guess I need to go back and look at the date, but I think they were fairly recent; within two weeks IIRC.

Knox, I read his FB posts last night, the "death" post was made on May 18 and I only went back 1 more page so everything has been in the last few weeks. This has really turned into a puzzling case. I wonder if the other guy arrested was her new boyfriend?:waitasec:

Kidnapping can be charged in some cases if a person wanted to leave and was prevented from leaving...not sure how it applies here...

This is the 3rd case I can remember where in-laws killed a daughter-in-law to try to keep her from moving with child...and there are probably more.

this one is very scary, something kind of Deliverance about the suspects in the photos...JMO
