Like Reeva, blonde, beautiful, and importantly one of those rare special people who care so much about others that they find a way to add value to others lives.

For OP to sue her and basically use the court system to harass her for all of those years, knowing she did not have the approx. $200K US dollars to pay him, amounts to him continuing his domestic violence towards her, IMO.

I agree with that. Guilty but wealthy and powerful people often sue their innocent victims as I wrote here. It's further assault in effect. So RE his lying about Ms Taylor, let's say that I was saying, is if he is lying he is great at it. The vic is still alive--as are witnesses and police. This one may totally come out.

In catching up, I remind that I was here first to state that IMO alcohol intolerance (And likely allergy-addiction syndrome to it) was involved in OP's killing of RS. I also correlated that most or all of his other violent or strange behavior seems also to correlate with alcohol drinking. And also I noted a possible allergy-addiction to caffeine as well.

Intolerance/addiction of those often goes together. And I have advised people to read up on allergy-addiction syndrome, as it clearly has depression as a part of the withdrawal phase, which is what keeps people eating or drinking harmful things. Which then puts them in back in the masking phase. But while on these things, some people will have their brain and behavior altered, in ways that they, and others may not see, or comprehend. And which will appear as purely "mental" or "emotional" illness to many.

Now I will say more on this. The intolerance for alcohol can be due to, or related to, numerous underlying factors, which I will not go into in detail. But it can have a delayed effect, due to some of these underlying factors. That is, some may show a quick adverse effect from alcohol, and others can have an effect like a hypoglycemia factor, whereby 3-5 hours after imbibing a dextrose sol'n they crash with siginificant effects on brain function. (Other things besides hypoglycemia --which I doubt a world-class athletes could have are likely involved here).

I note that earwitnesses said they argued for some time, and so OP may have a delayed reaction to alcohol. Or he may have desperately tried his best to control his rage (after imbibing) for some time with RS (who e may have wanted to marry), until finally unable to control it anymore.

I saw what is to me a significant clue in reading that his mother died at age 42 from "an allergic reaction to medication." So I think it is his mother's side that he got his intolerance/addiction to alcohol and caffeine. I would like to learn more of the medical problems her side of the family has/had. Mitochondrial DNA (from the mother) plays a role in numerous genetic maladies. All these factors fit one item.

So I may know what is going on with OP, but knowing more of her family's ills would be good.

Well I read those links, thanks again.

2 of them are of the same incident. Do you know how that ended legally? That was a serious assault by MB and 3 others.

The 3rd one says a Palestinian didn't like the way MB looked at him, and it sounded like MB tried to avoid a confrontation and even ran away (prob from a smaller man) but ended up stabbed in the arm with a scissors.

Are there many more incidents? He doesn't have a(n American) wiki page.

But IIRC, the matter of OP and MB involves a FORMER gf of OP. So OP can get into a rage even over someone no longer involved with?

I'm not trying to discredit him, I just think people are putting to much emphasis on what he says when they shouldn't. He must be loving having his name in lights. I could barely find those links because he is so entrenched in the OP story now that when you google, thats basically all that comes up. Now that's a steroid user with anger issues if I ever saw one. And no, I don't know him personally but he is so typical of the Jhb bouncer crowd. Going nowhere slowly. And as I have stated before, everyone will listen to what this douche has to say, but no one mentions the people who have given interviews including past girlfriends and friends who claim they have never seen OP become violent, aggressive, get drunk or treat women badly.

Could be many layers tothis,as Iwrote there were prob. so many machinations in what they allowed him to know at bail hearing and when they decided to pull him.

But I read that the report said he now has a similar job that pays more. If so, why not leave? And does that not sound like pvt security or similar? If he were really disgraced would some firm immediately hire him for more big bucks.

His knowledge could be worth $$ as he was the Det on both the door slamming event and the murder of RS. (And who knows what else?) Also his own attempted murder case could be interesting. A bit strange how things are done there, charing, dropping, then reinstating charges. Sounds political?

I wrote I think he is a fall guy. Then again his own charge of drunkenly shooting at 7 people...?

So I have not enough info to make up my mind on all that is involved with Botha. I just ask people to think about when he was pulled from the RS case and what he was told or not told before being pulled.

Excellent post, Shane. I have been wondering what your profession is. It appears that you are in the medical field or maybe you are a homeopath or naturopath. His mother's allergic reaction adds to your prediction about possible alcohol/caffeine addiction. When one craves these things, it is often allergy-based. Also, if he did not eat well, there might not have been much food in his system to absorb the alcohol.

Also, many people have reported that OP has anger issues which when sober, he might be able to control. But when he starts drinking, the rage comes up and he cannot control it.

Among alcoholics one of the many irritating personality traits is anger. Dealing with an angry drunk is challenging. Coping with this disorder when they’ve been drinking is difficult. Even sober, the negative emotion seems to be dominating in the character of a regular alcohol drinker. Not all alcoholics are candidates for having the disorder actively working in their life. But it is a common thread among the disease of alcoholism though.

So was OP also a "rageaholic", or "anger addict" as well as a heavy drinker with an allergy to it? That is a person who gets excited by expressing rage, or a person prone to extreme anger with little or no provocation. While "rageaholic" is not a formal medical diagnosis, it has been developed as a lay psychology term by counselors and anger-management groups seeking to help people who are chronically angry and who compulsively express fits of rage.

Have no idea but the latest was in 2012 so imagine the case would still be ongoing, if its even come to court yet. Anyhow, Supersport dropped him in 2007 and did so because of many previous incidents...but it's too much to go through via google. Looks like he was also dropped from soccer because of infighting with his teammates( saw a snippet somewhere that he got into a fight and threatened to kill one of them). And the initial fight OP had was not with MB, but clearly MB felt the need to take it upon himself to get involved. Argh, he is just annoying!

Shane, as I stated earlier, I don't believe he resigned, he has been asked to resign which means basically fired. I don't know how it works in other places but here, when you resign willingly,you work in a 30 day notice period. To resign with immediate effect is not standard when you are not being asked to resign. It also boils down to his compensation, he would get a lot less to be fired than to resign...the big brass more than likely told him to resign and he will get his benefits but he won't get anything if they are forced to fire him. You also can't just fire people here, it's a lengthy process with arbitration and I'm sure Mr Botha belonged to a union which would also get involved. He has just taken the easy way out of the inevitable I'm afraid to say.
