This may be silly, but I'm just turning around in my head this question of Kaiden, a babysitter, etc...

On the search warrant, in the narrative, the officer talks of Raven. Maybe not, but it almost seems like Kaiden would have been mentioned in that narrative as well.... Something like, "in addition to Mr. Abaroa, the couple's baby was in the house, in the crib, in the father's arms...something". Speculation to be sure... but it just seems like something that would be routinely mentioned in that narrative, the more I think about it...

That's a great point, SES. Does anyone know if the warrant would typically mention anyone else at the residence or if a baby would be mentioned or not since a baby couldn't really add anything to the possible interviews, etc.?

And I'm becoming more interested in the sitter if they still used one.? Did Kaiden go to the sitter's house or would the sitter come to the Abaroa's house? Was s/he familiar with the house and the routine there, (that Raven goes out on certain nights, etc.)?

I don't know the protocol for those narratives obviously. But, it would just seem logical, to me anyway, that you would mention any and all people in the house, even it one was a baby....

Wow, I've always assumed that Kaiden was there because of the statement (that some have been saying that Raven's brother made) about Raven kissing Kaiden good night. We need to find out if he would have been listed at the residence or not. It was simply a search warrant application (or whatever it's called) so I don't know if it would/should be listed there. But you're absolutely right ... just because Raven's brother said something about Kaiden being there doesn't mean it's necessarily true. We've also heard it rumored that Raven mentioned suicide but there's no way to determine whether or not any of those things are valid.

Tiffany, your video link is so beautiful. Janet was delightful and loved her baby boy so much! A part of me wishes I had never seen it because it is absolutely heart-breaking, and a part of me knows that I will watch it over and over again.

That it does. It has really changed things for me. Suddenly I feel like I can comprehend the true enormity of what has happened. When you see her in video with Kaiden, it's almost unbearable to watch. I thank you for making Janet real for us.

I believe we were told that he gave the jeep to his soccer buddy, Darius. So, what do we know about Darius? Could Raven and Darius been more than just soccer buddies? Was Darius jeolous of Janet, Raven getting back together with her and then having a baby with her? I just don't see Raven giving this jeep away for free...there must have been something else going on, imo.

Remeber that is UNCONFIRMED. Munch said there was some strange deal where Raven said he didn't get the money, but didn't seem to care. And, Darius and Raven each looked like they owned the jeep in different photos. So ... something *different* was going on there.

The more I ponder the question of a babysitter, the more curious I become. If for no other reason than -

in the period from the time Raven and Janet left Eurosport, sometime early in 2005, we have very little information about them, especially their personal lives. Most of what we DO have is online information from Raven, on various websites. What we do NOT know about are their day to day lives...

We know for a fact that Janet had started a new job at Martin Marietta at some point.

We've not heard from local friends, acquaintances, whomever, during this timeframe (January 2005 - April 2005).

The only reference we've had about a personal local contact during that time is Raven's reference to having found a friend to babysit for Kaiden. If not a friend, then this person(s) was at least someone they knew and felt comfortable with...

Accordingly, it would be really helpful if anyone knew anything about this person. Who? How often was he/she used? Generally what sorts of hours, etc.?

It's useful information just as far the personal contact, but also in relation to the day of the murder, potentially anyway.

Was the babysitter used that day, or not? If YES, then when? Who brought Kaiden, picked him up? Were the circumstance with regard to the sitter typical , as in anything out of the norm that day, or not?



Timex - I agree with an earlier post by Jersey. The babysitter would be someone to include on that form, even if it meant adding a new category. If for no other reason, it has to be fairly recent contact, and, someone they knew and trusted.

I agree about the babysitter..guess my question is..If Raven wasnt working, why did they need a sitter?
