& one more thing about this load of crud story. Even by Ron's own admission, this happened before he went to work. Now, why in the world, would he need to lie about what happened before he went to work?

Really good question, dodie20. That is a critical time, I believe, and it is also why we have Ron and his mom lying about his being the one to pick up HaLeigh.

How many go with the idea that when someone is lying they give too much detail?

That's something new to me (I mean reading about it, since becoming engrossed in Miss HaLeigh Cummings case). I would guess, like most things in this life, nothing is all black or white, and that this is just a "symptom" of some liars. What about those of us who have been told we give too much detail when telling about something that has occurred in our lives, while others know how to be concise and cut straight to the chase? Again, it must be that people are just different, yet there are certain traits that stand out, especially when looking for truth, that point to dishonesty.

YES....that "pesky" 911 call that keeps popping up as a topic of discussion...IMO...that 911 call was staged...IF it was REAL...R would have been the one making the call...not M...H was HIS daughter...What parents have a "babysitter" make a 911 call ...when they are standing RIGHT THERE!
all in my own opinion..

A parent who knows where Haleigh went to and was afraid he couldn't act upset enough to fool the dispatcher. JMO

BBM...I suspect he lied and made up that story due to the fact Haleigh died before he went in to work...For certain he could tell the real story...JMO

In making these posts here in the last hour, it has suddenly dawned on me, something I have not thought of before until now and I will share it with you...forgive me if this has already been pointed out...

It seems to me....that since Haleigh got off at the bus stop from school that day and was picked up...that NO ONE can account for SEEING HER after that...ONLY the C/C family who are unbelievable...EXCEPT for the A/C man...who...may/may not have seen her..He has been mum...IF HE DID NOT SEE HER...what does that imply???

does anyone share this suspicion...except me???...sorry if this has been repeated on some other thread...

One thing that bothered me about the going to work story was that Misty said Ronald "had to" leave for work, but Shoemaker said he went to work 45 minutes early. It was a lovely reunion for a father and his daughter but he cut it short not because he had to go to work but because he preferred hanging about his workplace for 45 minutes apparently doing nothing in particular to spending 45 extra minutes with his children. Why? What could have been more important at PDM?

I don't who gave Shoemaker that information, but Ronald Cummings couldn't have gotten there 45 minutes early on February 9th because Misty claims Haleigh did not get off the bus until 4:00 pm..And IF it's true he went looking for the van and whoever picked up Haleigh that day, I doubt he got there by 5:00 pm..
Has to be a reason Ron C wanted Shoemaker to think he got there 45 minutes early on the 9th and I suspect it has everything to do with what happened to Haleigh not too long after she got off that school bus.... JMO

Where did the store video story come from?

If it was an Art Harris sources then I say it was TN or Ron.

Ron's version of it stinks. He says the cops asked him what took so long getting home?

For the cops to ask someone that there must have been quite a bit of time missing.

Then he said after they checked the video they asked him how did he get home so fast from the store?

He said he drove like a cracker going home from werk.

If he drove like a cracker going home the other part of the trip from work to the store then they would never have asked about any time discrepancy.

Now a couple minute stop getting cigs would not make the police think he took a long time getting home.

Something does not make sense there.

The police would not think he took a long time getting home just because he stopped and got cigs, a beer and peanuts.

Think about this.. you know the AC man was there before GGMS. Why isn't the time line moved back to his visit?

IMO...I believe R has changed the WHOLE time line of FEB 9..starting with what time he got up that morning...to what time he got back home....

Yep and Ron and GGMS are very careful not to put their selves in the trailer after the bus pickup. Ron does not say he went in the trailer and GGMS does not go in the trailer.

I think they know something was found in the trailer that says harm came to Haleigh.

Why was Joe cleared by LE? What if JOE was cleared because he actually has an alibi for that night ... :idea:

Then, Substitute Timmy* for JOE in the van and ... and add Misty calling for clean-up.

And still ... only Misty might know how Haleigh died.

And why would you do such a thing for your sister? No questions and no squealing? Roxies. And Rats.

Maybe Joe has been telling a different story all along. Maybe he is saying Timmy left during the night or Tommy did not bring the van over till pretty late.

Someone had to deliver the van to chelseas from Lyndsy place then someone had to drive the deliverer back. Is this the time something happened?

I would give a hundred bucks to know what Tommy's come to Jesus moment was. What made him so desperate to get out of jail or not go to prison for a short time. Did he hear Lyndsy was messing around with someone? Those last tapes make him seem resigned to his fate then boom, he comes up with the story about Joe.

I'm not so sure he was cleared. LE has maintained that no one was cleared. If he had such a rock solid alibi, why did they return to TN to question him in April?

Also, if Joe were absolutely in the clear, Fields and Werter would know it, or have a pretty good idea. I can't imagine that they'd let their clients proceed with a JDI story.

I dunno. Just some thoughts.

If he wakes up and says "I seen three and that's all I know" I'll be a little worried.

I probably knew about neither of them putting themselves in the mobile home but forgot about it. That's something to ponder.
