I'm not so sure he was cleared. LE has maintained that no one was cleared. If he had such a rock solid alibi, why did they return to TN to question him in April?

Also, if Joe were absolutely in the clear, Fields and Werter would know it, or have a pretty good idea. I can't imagine that they'd let their clients proceed with a JDI story.

I dunno. Just some thoughts.

Someone had to deliver the van to chelseas from Lyndsy place then someone had to drive the deliverer back. Is this the time something happened?

I would give a hundred bucks to know what Tommy's come to Jesus moment was. What made him so desperate to get out of jail or not go to prison for a short time. Did he hear Lyndsy was messing around with someone? Those last tapes make him seem resigned to his fate then boom, he comes up with the story about Joe.

perhaps LE teased Tommy with a little physical Evvy Dance.

This is all my own opinion, but I think Chelsea had the van during the day already. Reason #1 Chelsea was at the bus stop and she had no other vehicle at the time. #2 Chelsea had no reason to be at the bus stop unless she was picking up T & L's son. Her own aren't in school yet. I have a feeling that T & L drove both of their vehicles over to T & C's along with the kids that day. Chelsea babysat while they either went to the hospital or L went to school with her carpool driver and T went to the hospital.

I'll try....How does Hank Sr. KNOW...M and T were sitting on the couch together....Did he SEE them...Who told him that...Tommy?

And so what...IF they WERE sitting on it together??

IIRC, from the Tommy phone tapes with Hank, someone told Hank. Misty? Flo? Misty to Flo to Hank? Not sure who, and unfortunately, my doctor says I'm not allowed to listen to them again. Ever. :biggrin:

Tommy did not want any discussion of him sitting on the couch with Misty the night Haleigh went missing. That was his strongest and loudest protest of not talking about the case.

I think it had to do with the latest story put out by Misty and Hank heard it somehow.

Tommy stopped him fast to keep him from talking about THAT.

I caught a little thing and I think it was tape 5 also but Tommy says there were pills laying all around and Ron kept his on his dresser.

To me a pill head knowing Ron's pills were on the dresser and Tommy admits to knowing they were on there is all strange. Might play into a theory.

Just watched a show where a burglar killed a little girl just because she woke up and could identify him.

But then I think well Tommy could make an excuse of why he was there to Haleigh.

not only does it play into a theory, but also a motive. & I hate to say this, but if Haleigh woke up while Tommy was robbing the joint, that might have put other ideas in his head-which sort of plays into a main theory of mine-but it's a pretty sick theory.

Yep and Ron and GGMS are very careful not to put their selves in the trailer after the bus pickup. Ron does not say he went in the trailer and GGMS does not go in the trailer.

I think they know something was found in the trailer that says harm came to Haleigh.

IF T was the one who hurt H, R would have killed him...I don't believe T had anything to do with the death of H...IMO...R was involved with her death..and he has written on his truck that ONLY GOD can judge him..(guilt)?

It's in the beginning of Tape 15.
T: Did y'all talk to her?

H: Yeah, she says she's telling everything she knows. Her lawyer doesn't seem to think she's telling everything. Some say...some seem to think that Haleigh OD'd. And you and Joe went down there to help

T: They're outta their minds. They're crazy as .

H: The s**t she says is crazy as , too...the s**t she supposedly says.

(A little more blah, blah, then Lisa takes the phone from Hank.)

L: Hey! Misty says something about you told...she was sitting on the couch with you...

T: I can't talk about nothin', okay.

Then Hank is suddently back on the phone. There is a little blip between Lisa's two sentences. I don't know if this part was intentionally cut or if it was a glitch, but something is definitely missing.

After more than a year of searching for any/every possible brand/type of shoe prone to squeaking, your mention of the couch dodie has prompted a thought > It was the bouncing couch Jr. heard squeaking, not shoes! (i.e., squeaky shoes...) I wonder if LE checked to see if the couch squeaks when someone sits (or bounces...) on it? :waitasec:

What if she was the one that got Granny H to call Teresa & Annette. GGS & TN got the message loud and clear, that Tommy is sending them to Shell Harbor. So GSS &TN go in prior to the search to plant "evidence", to make Tommys story true?

Tommy has no clue, he THOUGHT there would be no evidence at Shell H ....

Tommy seems shocked on the video with Hank that the LE had Misty out on the dock... in the beginning of the tape, Hank has stunned Tommy into silence..telling Tommy that they have Misty on TV at the dock...

Zaha, when I heard that tape I thought the same thing...Tommy seemed confused by what was going on at the dock search. When Hank Sr. told him that, he was at a loss for words. And I wouldn't put anything pass Teresa and her mother. Misty is the one that told GMH to call them..IMO, that was done for a reason...either for them to pick up evidence or leave evidence there.
