My main problem with LE is how hard they've been on Misty. called her the key and relentlessly hounded her. I just wanted them to cut her some slack, because of her age and life circumstances. Well, if this reported immunity offer is true, LE DID try to cut her some slack. Maybe when it's all said and done, they 'get' that her being in that house and playing mommy wasn't her doing. If the offer is true, I hope for Misty's sake that the reason she didn't take it is because she's not the perp. But if she is the perp, LE knows it. She took enough tests to determine that much. MOO.

I think the reason Misty didn't take the offer and hasn't ratted anyone out is because she did the act that caused Haleigh's death. Whether she got angry at Haleigh for wetting herself, or whether she drugged Haleigh to calm her down.

I've actually considered this..but I believe the bus stop witnesses and they said Haleigh got off the bus after school and Misty picked her. In his interview with Art Harris, he talked about being interviewed by LE and I think the FBI & according to him, they seemed to believe him. There's been some talk , that LE has stated that Ron picked Haleigh up. Has the witness been discredited? because if he has, that changes everything.MOO.

I talked to sources right after Misty's sentencing and I was told that LE had a meeting with Misty and she refused to talk in this meeting and LE was very upset.

So I am inclined to believe Art's reporting.

Yeah, but why would they be so "upset" when she hasn't talked to begin with?

I don't trust Art, and I think if the cops extended "immunity" to Misty,not only would Misty have said, the cops offered me immunity, I just dont know nothing, I think she would bring it out just to prove how serious she is, even if she isn't.

I need the LE to confirm Arts story before I run with it like its true. jmo

I agree with Misty picking her up and taking her to Magnolia, except, we have no idea the living arrangements at Magnoila, did they share the house with someone? I for some reason can not see anyone giving those two a lease, but maybe they were not as messed up as they were before they were introduced to Ronald. jmo

Maybe Tommy or Timmy secured the lease. But remember, before Hank's accident there was money coming in from the drywall business.

Yeah, well a normal reaction after your child goes missing is to got get a new truck! I just really want verification that they alone lived in that home, I need to know all the circumstances, because usually I do believe Misty picked up Haleigh and could have brought her there, but theres still so many vital details lacking.

Yikes, though I admit I have had renters that was just as bad.

Was thinking earlier this week but can you imagine having Ronald Cummings raising your grandchildren? (don't even know you have any but I do).

Hi there. I understand, I think it blows a lot of scenarios some have. I can't see any reason for them to lie about it. Just me, and it seems so strange to me that it's not believed. JMO

No way Misty caused Haleighs death, imo.

Ronald is the perp and Misty probably wasn't even there when Haleigh died. . The cops knew who the perp and enabler was from the first lie detector test. I actually was watching a show on the ID network today, and it was about this guy who wanted someone killed. He asked a friend, who asked a friend, who asked someone else to do it, so there were two middlemen. Well, the LE said to them, if you testify, we will give you immunity, no jail time but if we found out they were lying at or anything else like that, they would devote their days to seeing to it they see jail time one way or another. Reminds me of this case, in the aspect how they targeted everyone who around that child that night, and in a way I do think Hope is involved as well. Someone from Rons family helped him in someway, but I beleive he caused the death for sure. jmo

I guess the answer we pick is based on who looks the most guilty. Who picked up Haleigh is up for grabs....Ron, Misty, CC, TN all say Ron, JS says Misty. And now, after all this time, we have Misty claming they put Haleigh on the bus that morning. What in the world was going on then? Whatever it was is important because there's never been a straight answer. Ron driving like a bat out of you know where, favorite outfit, stained shirt, Misty walked her all the way to class, they put her on the bus. CC getting her feelings hurt because Ron wouldn't let her talk to Haleigh, Haleigh driving home, Jr sleeping the day away, Misty on the phone, arguing with LC & Tommy?, slapping JR...and on and on it goes. fight with JO, no fight, and then back to fight. guns, no guns, drugs, no drugs, Ron was a great dad, Ron was a terrible dad, Misty was the best gf Ron ever had, the kids loved her, she just got off a binger. Ron beat Misty for claiming to be pregnant, they wanted a baby. Ron controlled Misty, he bought her a car. Ron just used Misty, he took her back after the binger and married her. Ron and Misty divorced, she got his name tatted on her back. They claimed they passed their LDTs, it has been reported they failed. Misty didn't trust JO, he was in the house. I could go on forever, but I'll stop. MOO.

Very, very good! Dodie, I swear if you submitted this to a TV director for a day time soap, he'd think you were nuts. Sometimes I can hardly believe this has all happened. Chablis thanks for bringing up the subject and your thoughts on Hope NOT being involved in Haleigh's disappearance because not only is it relevant and I appreciate your thoughts on this subject but also because I have wanted to post about this as well but have always been sidetracked and don't ever get around to the subject.so thanks for the post which jogged my memory..lol..

RE: The belief that several have regarding the incarcerations and long terms sentences of Tommy, Misty, Ron, Hope, and Donna Brock somehow being indicative that all of those 5 people were somehow/some way directly involved in Haleigh's disappearance[murder]..

I have heard this notion mentioned several times here in Haleigh's forum..I do not have the actual posts/statements at this moment but will attempt to atleast locate a couple of posts that were regarding belief that all 5 arrested in Drug Sting/Bust all had a hand in whatever it was that happened to Haleigh that late night into early morning hours of February 2009..

Each and every time I have seen this posted or read someone's opinions/views that they believe that this indeed indicates that all 5 of those above mentioned were involved in Haleigh's murder and that there was definite and methodical planning done in order to ensure that all 5 0f these names were "gotten" on the Drug Bust..I have been baffled at what was getting those of that opinion to this conclusion??..but as I said always get sidetracked..lol..

IMO the whole entire theory goes out the window the minute you go over in your head the 5 people we are speaking of and you come to Donna Brock.. IMO that renders the theory highly, highly unlikely...

Donna Brock was not even in the picture when Haleigh was murdered so how could she have been directly involved?..IMO she isn't..The only reason she is sitting her butt presently in a prison serving a long, long, many years of a sentence for no other reason that for stupidity and possibly greed..The stupidity I assume is obvious and needs no explanation..The greed I say is possible if she was greedy for money off of drug sells..

That IMO why Donna Brock is even in prison or even being discussed.. Nothing IMO indicative in any way that Donna was somehow involved in Haleigh's murder and that is what the true reason for her hefty sentence being served..

Misty could be guilty. She was witnessed hitting a small child in the face and sitting at the school bus stop talking openly and in front of children about getting bad dope, according to witnesses. She briefly spoke in a very hateful way about Hayleigh having to be just like her, and didn't protect the kids from a former child and teen who acted out sexually against her. She allowed these guys around Ron's daughter many times. She also allowed dope smoking around the kids according to her and Tommy. She lied and manipulated Ron with the fake pregnancy test, lied to police multiple times, let her brother manipulate her, tried to frame an innocent young man, and slept around according to WBG and Junior. If she's not the one then she is one of the group who "found" Hayleigh outside the trailer after being attacked. Then, they most likely spent lots of time trying to convince Ron that it was someone he'd stolen drugs from or ripped off to get him off their backs and become defensive about his lifestyle.

I don't think that I have read any posts stating that Donna Brock was involved in anyway in regards to Haleigh being killed or missing or anything, but I might have missed it somehow. I believe that Donna also is sitting in prison due to her drug use and greed by selling drugs. I do not believe that Donna is involved in anyway with Haleigh's death.

A good Dad, even one who was dealing dope and had his daughter get taken because of his actions, would be selfless and tell the cops everything they did and were involved because at that point, all is supposed to an open book, IF you aren't directly involved with what happened to the missing child.

Misty being a typical out of control teen gal has nothing to do with Ronald, if Ronald didn't want the chance of any other kids he should of protected himself and not be put in a position to be "manipulated" by a teen, also his chosen sexual partner.
