I'm not really sure Kimster.
I recall Crystal's 12 thousand-ish ovedue support was paid by a kind stranger, but what may have accumulated after that date, I do not know what that amount might be. I recall Crystal had HaLeigh's support suspended or put on hold, whatever the correct ng, once HaLeigh went missing. I can't recall if she tried,or was successful, with doing that with her support obligations for Junior as well. Would have to go back a while and find out.
Also not sure what means are used when court orders are ignored for brief/long periods of time, toss in jail, take away driver's license, etc, various methods are used in various parts of the world IME. I really don't know. I also don't recall reading that Ronald was ordered to pay support to Crystal, mind you it's been awhile so I may have forgotten, would have to check the court records

I can tell you some of the enforcement actions taken, for those not in jail. I am not sure of the procedure when the non custodial parent is incarerated. they send out deliquent letters, then they will suspend your d/l, report the deliquentcy to the credit bureau, block your passport (if you have one, and if you don't they make it so you can't get one) issue a writ of bodily attachment, which is a warrant, but not a pikc up warrant. (You basically have to be caught doing something else, when they run your name they see the writ and take you in on that.) that is the basics.
all of the above takes SEVERAL years to happen. Action doesn't really happen until you missed several payments.
The biggest problem is when all enforcement actions are exhausted, there is nothing more the state of FL can do for the custodial parent. and if the non custodial parent leaves the state, the writ isn't enforcable in any other state than FL, and half the other states won't take the case on, so you get stuck!
that is the gist of it. hope it helps some
