"These guys"...if that's not profiling, I don't know what is

Everyone please remember to add "IN MY OPINION " to all posts that are not known as fact

Tricia is it ok if we put I think or I believe it went like this or do you just want IMO?

TM had every right to not go into his home, he had every right to stay and talk on the phone.

We don't know how GZ got his head scratched, he could have scratched it on the pavement while in his struggle. Where were GZ hands while TM was on top? I don't believe that TM had the upper hand the whole time. I believe TM saw the gun and there was a struggle over it, even if GZ was on bottom. TM had a right to defend his life, he had no weapon, GZ did. :twocents:
You're right. Both GZ and TM had the right to defend themselves. And that's the point. There is no crime committed in self defense. The charges should never have been brought in the first place.

If you listen to the 911 call, he says he does not know where TM is.

He was trying to go back to his vehicle but TM stopped him from doing that.

JMo

But he knew where his vehicle was and where the clubhouse was so why no location to meet with the police.
Answer (IMO) is that he was still going to look for Trayvon.

IMO

Last post for a bit, will check back later

We can play the "What if" game all day. That is not what happened, so I'm not sure why it is relevant.

Martin could have gone home, Martin could have run away. Martin could have answered what he was up to. Martin could have kept walking.

None of this is relevant to the events as they happened. The questions are whether Zimmerman was within his rights to do what he did. From all appearances so far, IMO, yes. The state has not proven otherwise beyond a reasonable doubt.

:twocents:

What I am saying is it could have been handled better by BOTH parties. And I feel those little mistakes and oversights does not make George 100% innocent, either. He did these things because he was sure this kid was up to no good despite having no evidence.

I believe so.

Angel Corey is the reason why it did not go to the Grand Jury first, she did not want it to go to the grand jury because, IMO she knew they would come back and say there is not enough evidence to take this to trial.

By deviating from the standard procedure, can’t that be construed as prejudicial treatment of GZ?

Yep. TM attacked him.

  • #231
Can you explain why GZ wouldn't give the police a location to meet up with him if his intent was to go back to his vehicle?
I think it is clear from the call to police that GZ intended to continue looking for Martin.
Even after GZ says "okay" in response to the dispatcher saying 'we don't need you to do that' his voice sounds strained while giving his name as though he is still running.
IMO
Neither you nor I nor GZ would be able to predict where we'd be when the police showed up as we were walking back to our vehicle. Precisely because we don't KNOW when the police will arrive and where our location with coincide.

I will trust an x marine and 45 year permit owner's opinion but thanks.

You can but that is only one person's opinion about proper way to deal with situation.
I know many Gun owners would say the opposite.. JMO

  • #233
Okay.. That means a lot to me.. He is expecting the first person that arrived to be police. He expected them to be there already. HE knows they could have been watching.

I think it is completely believable.

Still waiting for the state to show how GZ was out to murder someone that night. So far GZ's story makes complete sense, consistent with all evidence.

I guess we will. If someone is following/watching me then I am going to be more than a little "perturbed."

I think we are all going to do something different. I was always taught to get to someone else. Walk up a driveway, knock on the door and say, I am being followed please call police.

We just don't know what was going through TM's mind. He could have been scared, or mad or annoyed.

  • #237
Medical professionals told him he didn't need to go to the hospital.

  • #238
Black kids had burglarized homes in the area. It was completely appropriate to do what GZ did.

IMO, No, it wasn't OK or appropriate for him to do, but that's why you and I disagree fundamentally about this case and will never agree

How about you abide by the MODS order to put IMO on every post that is not factual and is just your opinion?

Why would TM walk in a circle around the car when it was on and someone in it? Unless he was just switching directions. Even if you think he was looking to start something it doesn't make sense.

  • #240
Now I've heard it all from this bloke. He claims that TM circled his car on foot as he was driving....:twocents:

I notice GZ has a scar or two on the left side of his face. Can't help but wonder how often he engaged in fights, what with the scars, his MMA training and now this killing. He is sooooo calm talking about killing a human being right afterward to this woman police officer that I find it to be indicative of a
psychopath.:moo:

" They" ( as in AAs all come around at night " ...he claims to know every person in the entire complex, 100s of individuals....and yet his driving license gives his address at another location.IMO
