“The alleged murderer of three-year-old Madeleine McCann is a sex offender with multiple criminal records. Christian B. was convicted of sexual abuse of children as a teenager. According to information from SPIEGEL, his criminal record contains a total of 17 entries. Among other things, he was investigated for "driving without a license, bodily injury, aggravated theft and drunkenness in traffic". He is currently serving a prison sentence in the JVA Kiel.
According to an extract from the Federal Central Register, the now 43-year-old B. was on trial for the first time in Bavaria for "abuse of a child" and "exercess sexual acts in front of a child" in 1994. The Würzburg District Court sentenced the then 17-year-old to a juvenile sentence of two years, of which he served only part.
From Bavaria, the intensive offender moved to the north, traded drugs and committed thefts. In October 2011, the district court in Niebüll, Schleswig-Holstein, sentenced him to a prison sentence of one year and nine months for "trading in narcotics in not insignificant quantities". The sentence was initially suspended for probation. Later, the probation was revoked. B. ended up in prison.
In 2013, according to SPIEGEL research, the serial offender again committed a child. In 2016, the Braunschweig District Court sentenced him to a prison sentence of one year and three months for "sexual abuse of a child in unity with the possession of child pornographic writings". Just one year later, a conviction for assault followed.
The last act for which Christian B. was convicted last December in Braunschweig was a brutal rape in 2005. He committed the act in Portugal in the Algarve. There he had attacked, tied up, beaten and raped a 72-year-old American woman before he disappeared with her money. It took more than ten years until the German could be transferred. A hair at the crime scene eventually provided a DNA proof.

CB has convictions for the things people are saying he has convictions for. He’s a non preferential sexual offender. He will have offended more than 18 convictions he has.

And these are only the crimes we know about. There may be others he may have done that were not reported, investigated allowing him to keep evading being captured by the police.

IMO it’s looking more likely that a release date will get further away. If so good for the investigators & a very good for society

I can not believe that people still ask for proof of his older convictions, we are here and talked about it often. The convictions were mentioned often during the last trial and some here who doubt them we know they have subscribed for the BZ where it was mentioned more than one time

indeed I thought his teenage convictions were common knowledge. I believe that's where he first went into the religious non profit care system that would keep cropping up through his life. Strangely enough the religious non profit organisation is linked to the place Inga was abducted.... My own Opinion of course.

The abuse and rape of the US woman seems to have been more ritualistic than sexually charged. She states that when it came to the actual sexual act that CB had lost interest.

This makes me wonder if CB's behavior could have been triggered by things that he may have experienced while growing up under this religious influence.)

One of the "opinions "was from a formal psychological report. This means much more. And no the crimes he committed in Germany (ie abuse of a child ) are not minor in any way!

You repeatedly misrepresent my posts. I said “relatively” and compared to rape of a 72-year-old, that is a correct assertion.

Whatever weight you put on the psychological report, it didn’t pass muster with the judge who found him not guilty - frankly it’s the judges opinion that counts.

I made the reference to CB being a golf-ball collector.

The context was to show that he was delusional. While collecting golf balls, he presented himself as a gangster - gun, suit and Jaguar while living in a small tourist villiage. If anything, I am supporting the point that CB has a poor character.

I object to the way you and others are twisting my comments to support your arguments - its poor form.

The date of conviction is irrelevant. What matters is the offence. He has been convicted for some of these (as per usual I such cases of sexual abuse) so that is not synonymous with saying he didn't commit any other such offences in the meantime. The fact that they caught him for some could definitely signify he committed more. Why would he stop?! He kept on fantasising about such offences, the psychiatrist who studied the police records (the closer one has got to him) says is a very dangerous psychopath. He attacked young and old - that is common with psychopaths.

Why did he stop committing rape most likely after 2005 and certainly once he returned to Germany. A very extensive investigation has taken place trying to link him such offences but there are no leaks or charges of any rape crimes after 2005 and certainly not on his return to Germany.

As you say, he is a sadistic rapist fantasising about such crimes - can you please answer “Why would he stop?” Because he did stop.

Of course you can link everything, but after we've taken his whole life apart here, I at least assume that we all know his
criminal record, which has been discussed often enough over the years.

Okay, I agree we all know his record: a few cases of indecent exposure, child molestation, driving offences, theft and one conviction for rape. An awful person no question.

But, this record is unremarkable. You suggested up-thread that this forum is about CB, not MM. it’s absurd to suggest that dialogue about CB can occur without discussing MM - that he is a suspect in her abduction is the only reason anyone would ever be discussing CB.

I wrote a long post and for some reason it was lost. So I will be brief now! Who says he did not commit any crimes? That he was acquitted does not mean he did not commit them. Also women rarely disclose their rape, for reasons we all know. I could turn the argument round and say he committed the crime he was fantasising in 2007 and relived it later in Gemany. This kept him okay for a few years.

He could have for some years been staying low also - and was not given a chance to reoffend.

Who knows? I really believe he did commit all crimes he was charged with, and that he is a deranged and dangerous psychopath.
