How many attacks are in the planning stages right now in Germany and Europe particularly I wonder?

"Two brothers have been arrested in western Germany on suspicion of planning a mall attack where a popular Christmas market is taking place near the Dutch border, police say.

Special police units apprehended two suspicious looking men in Duisburg at about 12:45am local time on Friday, as authorities say they may have been planning to attack the shopping center CentrO in Oberhausen.

'The 28- and 31-year-old brothers born in Kosovo are suspected of having prepared an attack on the CentrO in Oberhausen,' an Essen police statement reads."

I did not realise that both counties did so

Both German and Italian officials say they tried to deport Amri to his native Tunisia — but both also say they hit roadblocks when Tunisian officials didn't confirm he was a citizen.

photos of Amri emerged to show him with unkempt hair and a light beard. But in other images and in a seven-second video that's being attributed to the suspected terrorist, he's seen with close-cropped hair.

Humm strange Sky news is airing his family members talking about this. I know this sounds chicken but if one of my sisters did this, I would be afraid to go on global TV and tell her you have shamed us.

He is obviously not well! I really would not want to upset him!!

The papers in the cab bug me. Unless he was planning on trying to leave Germany afterwards??

OR??

maybe he believed that he thought he might die, that this was a suicide mission, the papers in the cab are indicators IMO that he wanted to be known.

I dont really understand how he would think he could die, running people over in an 18 wheeler is different than wearing suicide vests.

But the papers, now that we know how deviant he was, and for how long he behaved this way-he just does sound like he would be "concerned" about not having papers on him.

SKy news also had a recent video of him. He does not look anything like the pics we have seen. Nothing. Face is much slimmer, . Did not look like that in any pics seen so far

Here is the video - does he look like any of thepics you have seen?/

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/video-show...uspect-filming-himself-german-capital-1597788

What is the building seen behind him, beyond the river, do they have extra security there? speculation.

I posted tonight in the threats thread that multiple explosions were planned in Australia on Christmas Day multiple arrests have been made. What's worrying me is an attack on a church at midnight or day mass somewhere.

Not only at churches, but..
Hanukkah 2016 begins in the evening of Saturday, December 24
and ends in the evening of Sunday, January 1
not to mention New Year's eve.

Video is scary

I found the music inappropriate moo

I think (especially the way things have gone thus far) they should check the dates of all the pics they have floated around. The video was Sept.

He def looks like he has been working out just from the loss of weight in the face.

If you stopped the video and put it along side all the other pics we have seen, I am sorry there is no way I would think it was the same person. mo

Within the past 48 hours, Berlin, Zurich, Turkey, Yemen and Jordan have each seen terror arrive at their doorsteps, right in the heart of the international holiday season.
The U.K.'s terror threat level was raised to "severe" amid a spike in international terror attacks, including one targeting a Christmas market in Berlin on Monday evening.

That attack followed a warning previously released by U.S. authorities advising travelers visiting markets across Europe over the holiday season remain vigilant.

. A similar, large-scale attack as the one that occurred this week in Berlin was prevented by French authorities, who detained seven suspects Nov. 21,

authorities in Kansas arrested four men planning an attack on an apartment complex housing a majority of Somali immigrants the month before.

Exactly how does one remain vigilant against 18 wheelers, exploding dumpsters, Ak-47, machetes, humans wearing bombs, knives, pressure cookers, or cars with explosives?

“He loves money, and if you take one of his customers, he would go crazy,” said a fellow Tunisian drug dealer, Ayman, who said he often saw Mr. Amri selling cocaine in Berlin’s hip Kreuzberg neighborhood.

One day in March 2011, two boats left the Tunisian port of Sfax. One boat sank, killing everyone aboard. The other brought Mr. Amri to safety

his four-year prison sentence at the Ucciardone prison in the Sicilian capital, Palermo, infamous for having housed the worst of the mafia

The prison allowed him to call only one phone number, so the Amri family would pass a sole phone among relatives in Tunis and the smaller city of Sousse so he could speak to his entire family, Walid Amri said.

released Mr. Amri a few months early, in May 2015, and ordered him to leave the country. While in prison he received 12 warnings for violent behavior,

told his brother Walid that he had found intermittent employment in agriculture and at a garage. He called home every day, asking about the weather, what his mother had cooked for dinner, and how everyone in the neighborhood was faring, said his sister Nejwa, a lawyer in the central Tunisian town of Oueslatia.

n November, state and federal officials compared notes on Mr. Amriat the Joint Counterterrorism Center in Berlin. Given the crush of demands on German security services, they found no evidence to justify round-the-clock surveillance of him.

was shocked to hear Mr. Amri may be an Islamic extremist because he drank whiskey and used drugs as well as dealing them.

Amri regularly went online in Berlin’s Moabit neighborhood at a cramped internet cafe. One of them said Thursday he had seen Mr. Amri visit the cafe one evening this past weekend—just before Monday’s attack—

I just posted it to the breaking news thread.

The man suspected of killing 12 people with a truck at a Berlin Christmas market has reportedly been shot dead in Milan.

Reuters reported that the 24-year-old suspect, Anis Amri, had been killed in a shootout in a suburb of the city in northern Italy, according to security sources

Fingerprints found at the scene of the shootout identified the man as the Berlin attacker, police source told Reuters.

A short video posted on the website of Italian magazine Panorama suggested the shooting happened before dawn, with police gathered around a cordoned-off area in the dark.

The report was one of several conflicting accounts on the whereabouts of the 24-year-old Tunisian Anis Amri.

A man matching his description was seen in Aalborg in northern Denmark, the Danish police tweeted on Friday, saying people should keep away from the area as it had an ongoing operation there.

As of Friday morning, German authorities said they believed Anis Amri to still be in hiding in Berlin after CCTV images showed him outside a mosque.
