How the hell can she dismiss the evidence presented of his pedophile, perverted, sick, sadistic, violent ,evil computer searches ?
Her hairs found on the murdered deceased?
Daughter's and Rex's DNA matches, water bottle and pizza crust?
The electronic records of her husband's numerous burner phones?

What strikes me the most though is that if Asa can go public with these declarations about her husband after being in contact with him weekly I can only imagine how easy it was for Rex to sway/convince her of anything during the years they lived together.

My question is has Asa's status now changed from being labeled a "victim" of her husband who is criminally charged of being the serial killer of 4 women to her being an ally of her husband who is criminally charged of killing 4 women?
IMO: She's not "withholding judgement" when she claims Rex is not capable of having killed 4 women and she hasn't yet heard all the evidence that will be presented at trial which is her reason for saying that she is "withholding judgment" and giving him the "benefit of the doubt" when she already judged him as being innocent.

It is very hard to understand how Asa would be able to have such cognitive dissonance that she can see the evidence and not feel RH is capable.

I get the feeling she's a paid actor on a stage, performing a role that may or may not reflect her own knowledge and belief. She's not under oath. There's no penalty I know of to prevent her performance.

We don't know and may never know anything about that upsetting image but it has been suggested that the daughter who is somewhat of an artist may have done it.

IMO: The only appropriate place for an image like that is in the police file of a battered woman to be used as evidence against the defendant.

I am so curious as to what Melissa Moore (Happy Face's daughter) has to say about the Peacock deal and now that Asa is saying that Rex isn't capable of having killed the 4 women.
So far I have not found any statements from Moore.

Moore started the fundraiser for Asa after meeting her and her kids but suspended donations after the news hit that Asa signed with Peacock.
I wonder if Moore is part of the Peacock documentary too?

That's pretty much what Josh Zeman said when he was discussing it with Joe Giacalone on his YouTube show. Agreed, that's what it looks like, too. It seriously feels like watching an actor. While I know she's desperate for money, this seems a very... unusual (?) direction to take to raise financial resources in this set of circumstances. I don't think AE has done herself any favors by entering into this arrangement, despite the obvious financial rewards. She's involved in a very, very grim, ugly, complicated, and deathly serious situation that has had, and will continue to have, life-or-death consequences for a lot of people. And she is in the midst of that, in a pivotal role as spouse of a murder suspect now in custody who if guilty, has done unspeakably horrible things to his victims. This isn't a time when people are going to appreciate fluff and meaningless hollow statements, especially from her, in her position. She may suffer from trying to convert her very serious situation into reality tv. But we'll see how it plays out.

In the bill of particulars prosecutors wrote that they do believe Heuermann acted alone and that the cause of each woman’s death was “homicidal violence.” Prosecutors further state that the time and place of each death is contained in the grand jury minutes and other discovery materials, though they stopped short of providing more specific details.As for how prosecutors maintain the four deaths were part of a common scheme, Lee wrote that each victim was a sex worker in their 20s advertising their services online and that they were all contacted by burner phones utilized in locations consistent with Heuermann’s whereabouts.

The prosecutor also argued that the remains were discovered "completely nude" and bounded within close proximity to each other, that five hairs connected to Heuermann or a family member were recovered from three of the four sets of remains and that “each victim’s disappearance and murder occurred at times when defendant’s wife and children were traveling out of state.”

Heuermann has been held without bail at the Suffolk County Jail since his arrest. He is due back before State Supreme Court Justice Timothy Mazzei for a conference April 17.
