I find the argument 'Well he/she never killed before' to be rather inane. Every murderer has to start somewhere. Drew Peterson didn't kill all his wives. Darlie Routier didn't murder all her children. There are quite a few cases we could reference.

However it undoubtedly comes up every trial as some type of evidence that the accused is innocent merely because they haven't killed before.

ITA. Whenever I hear the argument that someone hasn't committed more crimes, I :waitasec: wonder if we're supposed to pat the perp on the back and give them a big CONGRATULATIONS! For having not murdered more people!

I am driving myself crazy with that pic right now. Right where I marked the DA's finger it looks like he is pointing to something that looks like the bottom of a foot. It has dimension to it, and it doesn't look like it's part of the tile floor.

Could it be a flip flop or Addidas slip on sandal? That might explain the weird shape, she could have slipped partially out of it with all that blood.

I read today, at a "support the killer site", part of a letter or statement made by a former lover of Jodi's. He was remarking about how she didn't go crazy or violent on him when they broke up, or any other lover previous to Travis.

I am wondering what you armchair psych docs think about this? Why Travis? She seems so freaking crazy, it's hard for me to imagine her now, being "normal" with other people.

Travis was a way to a better life than what she had. Travis was money and the good life to her.

It is in the DA's hand as he walks away and then you hear it hit the floor. I didn't actually see it drop. BTW, I thought it was a stupid thing for the DA to do.

the prosecutor dropped it showing it didn't take 47 secs for jodi to drop the cam - cuz she said thats why travis attacked her and the time line didn't match - and the defense had a cow saying he was destroying evidence for a courtroom stunt - it was awesome!

I believe that was the first photo that showed up on my phone during the live feed. I saw it at least one more awful time during the debacle.

Just to describe a little, it was a view from behind JA on her hands and knees (doggy-style,) but it was very very close-up. In fact, her "posterior" was the entire frame, similar to the other "close-up." It was odd--either there was a strange shadow, or she has extra bits and pieces in that pic. Kind of an x-rated Where's Waldo, if you will.

ETA: So I can put it out of my mind, the anus was in clear view and appeared to be dilated somewhat. That is a clinical description of what others noted, myself included.

From the look on her face, I don't think the judge was impressed with the stunt.

I am 99% sure someone linked to the pic earlier in this thread, right after they were shown. Its the only way I saw it. But I've been looking back through the earlier posts and can't find it again. Probably a good thing!
