since he's flaccid, guessing he just got done or maybe he was taking vascular enhancement drugs that harn't had their full effect yet. I'm thinking the former. That said, agree, I've never seen that much contrast b/w the the rest of the body and the penis other than in the act...maybe. Weird!

Well just so you know, I'm not waking hubby up to do any experiments...

Why do you think this?

A few reasons. One being the similarity between this photo, assuming Travis is alive here, and the position he was found:
http://s1352.beta.photobucket.com/user/tabularasa6/media/ja47_zpsda0f592d.jpg.html?sort=3&o=9

I also noticed that in the earlier photos of him in the shower, the glass door looks closed. There is more of a glare. Then she gets him to open the door. We see pictures with him with his back turned, and then his eyes closed, all vulnerable positions that, IMO, he would have to be in to not see her grab for the knife. I think she decided eyes closed would work best, she could inflict greater damage.

And lastly, most of the shower pics are terrible, out of focus. Not like that headshot we saw earlier. I think Jodi didnt really care about these pictures, the camera was serving a purpose at that point and it wasn't to photograph Travis and to me, it showed.

While the VaJayJay pictures are like the proverbial "train-wreck" that you are compelled to see, (and by that, I mean that it looks like a train wrecked into her VaJayJay), I am most compelled by the interview video with JA and Det. Flores. It is fascinating hearing him question her, when we know now what he knew then.

From what I have heard, and I may be wrong, she changed her story to the 2 intruders story shortly after a break in questioning, and that was videoed as well. If so, I'm guessing that is what might follow tomorrow.

Well done, Det. Flores!

She doesn't have kids, right?

It looks like she used it for watermelon storage or something...

I've been reading for hours, trying to catch up b/c I had to work all day on the day-of-all-trial-days. I'm lying in my kids' room, with one snoring and the other restless ---- and I laughed so hard I had to leave the room when I read that.

:laughcry:

YES! I cannot wait for tomorrow. It will be like Christmas all over again if we see Jodi's backup story unfold in a similar fashion. :great:

I know. I'm exhausted and just want to go read WS in bed, but I know my snorting and chortling will wake hubby.

I caught the lady DA looking shocked at around 24. in the video when Martinez is entering item #167. She looks down and then shakes her head really fast.

Translation- no no no WTF my eyes

I think we'd all be humbled by this experiment -- a photo line-up of our various "3-holes." I haven't had a brazilian in like a million years, so she's got me beat by a long shot right there!

I still see the sanitary end of a wooden swizzle stick. (Is it wrong that I'm a little annoyed the pics are so blurry?)

That actually makes a lot of sense, putting it like that.

Do you think that if he had done something in particular that she wanted that night, she would not have killed him? Or do you think that she intended to kill him no matter what? The whole sexual theme earlier that night just seems odd to me; as if she was seeing if something would occur before going "all the way" with the plan.

Too funny!

Looking at hers horrified me!

Grabbed a mirror, double checked myself.... Whew was relieved ... Looked nothing like that mess!

Okay... I've recovered somewhat from the watermelon escapades and can comment on things I've noted while reading for HOURS. What a day!

(some of these posts are from much earlier - my apologies!)

Hi, OceanBlueEyes; thanks for your temperate post. Years back, I spoke with a New York City Legal Aid lawyer who had obviously sacrificed a much more lucrative career to help the accused. He told me that it was important to protect the legal rights even of the guilty. He told me about cases of minor felony crimes in which the convicted person was being charged with "pile-on" counts or young people who had given wildly false confessions under duress.

I was a witness for the defense in a murder trial years ago. I didn't know the accused or the victim. But my testimony was used to undermine the prosecution's main witness - basically saying that she couldn't have seen him fleeing the scene b/c she was no where in the area at that time, or, at least she wasn't on her way to see me like she claimed b/c I wasn't at the school that night. Other school personnel testified that the school was locked/closed, in fact. The man was acquitted and it was later found that the woman was lying to protect her daughter's BF, who was the real perp. They do have their place in the legal system. It wouldn't work without them.

Exactly what I was thinking, but funnier:floorlaugh:.

In all seriousness, that entire AREA is just...what's going on there? I know things come in all shapes and sizes but to put it plainly, this is what I'd expect a prostitute's v to look like. A very old, experienced prostitute.

I can try to answer this, but if the nurse mod wants to help me out, I would appreciate it! (I've only worked peds, but I'm trying to move out of that field, I seriously can't take much more of the trauma of seeing abused children and their horrible sperm/egg donors.) I would assume, depending where exactly the knife hit (haven't seen the autopsy report), that if the knife directly hit the heart, the person would deteriorate to v-fib or another non-sustainable heart rhythm almost immediately. They would bleed out rather quickly, and lose consciousness quickly. If she didn't hit the heart directly, it would probably take a little longer. I suppose if she didn't hit his heart, he MIGHT be able to stand, but it still depends where the knife actually hits. (Again, another nurse or md, please feel free to tell me I'm wrong!)

I'm way behind.
This has prob been answered.
I'm a nurse, but peds as well for the most part 19 years.

Some pain management too, 2 years at an out patient non-surgical center. I prepared patients and assisted the MD with
Cervical ,Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections
Selective Nerve Root Injections, Facet Joint Injections
Lumbar Sympathetic Blocks, Medial Branch Blocks,
Brachial Plexus blocks etc...
As well as monitored them in post op.

OH AND the occasional blood patch... shiver...

IMO he was able to make it out of the shower to the sink, where he may have coughed up blood and spit then the reality of what was happening became immediately clear.
I think he tried to escape, but only made it as far as the hallway/carpeted area.
I believe is where he dropped. He never made it to his bedroom.

I would estimate from the time he was stabbed in the heart to falling unconcious was about 1 1/2 - 2 min??? MOO

Clearly he lived for a short time because there was blood spray all over the walls.
