:seeya: Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had a few mind cleansing hours after yesterday's peep show. Let's hope today is a little less graphic and more focused on the defendant's mountain of lies.

Anyone remember the good ole days when ABC owned the Disney channel and played animated, family-friendly movies? Now they air pre-homocide 🤬🤬🤬🤬 pix? I miss those days!

Big drama! Better not be a mistrial.

Uh oh . . . . wondering if the Judge is gonna blow a gasket! We have had 2 or 3 "counsel please approach" moments in the first 5 minutes of court. . . . .

Could JA be asking for a mistrial as the pics were shown on the live feed? I doubt it as it would have nothing to do with the jurors . . . .

wonder if she is changing her plea

Personally, I would - considering the evidence they have against her. Yesterday was a horrid day for her (as it should have been). She has nothing, nada, zip. Just give it up and take lwop (if the family agrees). And with that I mean lwop (not paroled after 25 years). Give her something like 999 years.

I think we've all seen enough to prove her absolute guilt in this case. And I can't imagine she has any defense to back up this horrible crime.

IMHO

I saw the man, bald, sitting next to Travis' sister??? grabbing a kleenex and wiping his eyes.

crap..if so then a mistrial

Her female lawyer wasn't there either.

I feel like the sisters would be more visibly upset if something were really wrong.

What are they saying on In Session? I don't have that channel anymore.

They just tweeted this:
In Session @InSession
The judge in the #JodiArias trial is dealing with another case so the Arias is in a holding pattern.

Question... someone said that they had different styles of sex and etc..how do you know about that? sorry just wondering

:blushing:

And if she didn't set this date/time...ie: its is wrong by some weird chance.. because she didn't change it otherwise it would be change to something like April or earlier.

Thanks for the info SD...missed you the past couple days!

The time and date stamp stays the same after you first program it. Unless the batteries have been out of it for a few months.

You need to work on your aim. :giggle:

I brought this up yeaterday. There is no proof that the DATE or the TIME on the camera is accurate. However, the TIMER is accurate. In other words the time elapsed between photos is accurate.

Yep, that's right. I think the question asked was a different one though.

Good morning. I'm a brand new member but have been reading all the threads about this trial. Couple of quick comments:

1. I find psychopaths so incredibly fascinating because of how different they are from real people.

2. I don't believe anything Jodi has said about her relationship with Travis or their sex lives or his jealousy or anything else.

3. Based on what we've seen of evidence and heard from credible individuals, I don't think there was anything particularly lurid or deviant or even unusual about the sexual relationship -- Travis was rather innocent and inexperienced; whatever experience he gained, he learned from Jodi. He gave in to temptation, just like we all do at times.

4. I have not come up with a good theory yet for how exactly the brutality was carried out or what triggered it 45 seconds after the last shower photo. But that last face shot of Travis looks like he is scared and upset, and his body posture in the next 2 photos suggests the same. Wondering if Jodi had him at gunpoint in those moments and/or was threatening to expose the nude photos to his church and job

:welcome:

lol, can dude say "Shackles" any more?

It's funny that the jury can't see her shackled when the reason she killed him is that he wouldn't shack up. :waitasec:

Reminds me of the CA trial and all the tricks she and her team tried, sickness, fainting, mistrials etc etc

As per Twitter:

In Sessions says: The judge in the #JodiArias trial is dealing with another case so the Arias is in a holding pattern.

Before this thread takes off with trial play-by-play, I wanted to add that I really don't know how this will be anything less than 1st degree. She planned this weeks if not months in advance. Stole the gun, rented a car, dyed her hair, turned off her cell phone, tried to establish an alibi with Ryan, etc - not to mention the stalking before.

I also think she used sex to calm him down after she showed up and surprised him at his home. Planned ahead of time on using the camera to get him vulnerable/posing. She had it all planned out. I do think now that that look for fear in his face in that last face photo may have been him being surprised by her - and she had brandished the handgun. He was forced to get in the bottom of the shower. I think the reason his head is not included in the last two photos is that she was having a hard time snapping photos and handling the gun, IMO. :(
I think the only way it wouldn't be strictly premeditated is if she didn't set out intending to kill him, but was prepared to if it came to that. A thin, vague line, I know. But it might be enough to persuade jurors.

For instance, if she had it because she was planning to kill him, but rethought it and was giving him another chance since the night was going so well... And then things took a turn she didn't like, so she acted in more of a second degree murder fashion rather than the original first degree. She planned a murder, decided not to do it, then something else happened that triggered a "heat of passion"-type murder.

Given how the defense is setting things up, they may be going for this scenario if the self-defense doesn't pan out for them.

I'm almost waiting for her to say "Jodi Arias is dead". It's happened before.

According to the camera testimony yesterday, some pics didn't have a time stamp because they had been deleted and when they were retrieved, some of the data had already been written over so some of the deleted pics did not have a time stamp.

IMO the times are all accurate and the camera was probably set up by Travis when he first got it.
