I believe the only plea the prosecutor will take is lwop vs. the dp. I'm okay with that. The family has been through enough IMHO.

ETA: I believe the defense team also wants to end this asap -- there's absolutely no interest in saving this woman (from what I can see). The sooner they can get out of there the better!

First of all they are not SEX pics, they are nude pics. Secondly, I see nothing degrading about them. Just two naked humans, not at all uncommon for couple to take pics like this.

Agree. Not sure I've seen all the pictures they took, but the ones I've seen aren't the absolute worst. I've seen two of him and two of her, and neither are truly "sex" photos. I consider a sex photo more like a close-up shot of intimate body parts in the act of actually having sex.

As for JVM saying these photos could make jurors feel sorry for JA, being the photos are so "humilating"... I don't see feeling sorry for JA due to these pics.

The only person to feel sorry for in these pics is TA. He was totally alive one minute, probably completely unsuspecting.

JA must be one heck of an actress.

Asking because I wouldn't call the pics disrespectful, to Jodi, anyhow. I guess I'm thinking disrespectful implies Travis was doing something disrespectful taking the pics.

I was little taken aback by her comments. They were just naked photos. A lot of people take them. She looked very comfortable taking these videos. And she had to be to show her back side that looked like the black abyss.:floorlaugh:

Jean is desperate to spin this case into abuse. Just like she rode the coat-tails of Mason in CAs case taking up for him and CA.

I just tune her out. If I was a juror I would just think these are photos taken by two consenting adults.

I dont think he would take a plea..........why should he........he has her dead to right.

they have every right to plea but its really sad that it had to come AFTER all the photos were shown to the public. Once all those shots hit the web there is no getting them back and his parents have to know that.

I think they're discussing the mistrial motion regarding regarding the texts that was brought up this morning. OTOH, the only way I see a plea deal is if somehow the DT was able to convince JA just how it's looking for her. JMO

I didn't SAY they were degrading. I think Jodi's face is degrading enough. All I was pointing out is that someone viewing a close up of her vagina and other regional areas could view them as sex pics. There was certainly not ANYTHING artistic about this photo. Let's not get into the debate about art vs nudes. I have no problem at all with art nudes...none. But, this tangle of turkey wattle and dark, deep crevasses is NOT art. Especially in the context we are seeing it!

Jane Valdez said they were degrading, not you... And I'm not saying they were art, I'm saying they were not SEX pics. They are nude pics, nothing more, nothing less. And not degrading either.

in this case her age could have a lot to do with it. Sexting is something people are used to right now. it's pretty common. while if you went back 15 years most people would not admit to sexy pictures.

I also think Jean plays devils advocate to carry the conversation farther. if people just all sat back and said yup she's guilty and the prosecution is doing everything right then it would get old fast.
