Never mind!
3 you MUST remember are:
Kalimera, kalispera and efcharisto :)

It's actually "efharisto"
Good morning, good afternoon and thank you.
I learnt these Greek words once when I spent five weeks in Greece in my 20s. I learnt many other Greek words too which I have forgotten by now. I must have missed the early threads when you discussed these three words.

No accomplice - check. 'Black money' related to work? Violent secret sex life? These things will be revealed at the trial?

The Greek media had led me to believe that this part of B's life was not proven even though it was mentioned earlier on.

I forgot there is going to be a trial as he pleaded guilty to homicide but not to premeditated murder, I guess.

I wonder when the trial is going to be held? I guess some time in 2022.

When my spouse and I went to Greece in 2013, we taught to say "A fairy's toe"!

Any day now, I expect B to announce that he has Found God.

Love that..
Yes, a brilliant idea!
Any way to memorize a new foreign word is good :)
I bet our friend Kemug will never forget this Greek word :)

Sorry, it is off topic but it reminds me when I had to learn quickly a name for medicine for my terribly sore throat.

*Orofar max*

So.... *Oro* in Spanish is *gold*
*Far* in English is *distant*
Ok = for me as a teacher gold/lots of money is max far away haha

I went to the pharmacy and said confidently:

A packet of OROFAR MAX, please :)

And I got it!

From your link:

"The godfathers of little Lydia were three and were chosen symbolically by her grandmother. These are Sotiris, Phaedra and Nafsika. All three young children were classmates of the murdered woman and today they are studying in various parts of the country who live permanently on the island of Alonissos."

So now we know who the godparents are.

From your link:

"The only crucial element was considered the time of "disuse" by the pilot of an indoor, Chinese-made camera in the Freshwater maisonette. According to an initial report by the Forensic Laboratories, this happened about 3-4 hours before the crime, and this shows that it was not a crime of the "bad moment after a sudden quarrel" as presented by the pilot. However, the side of the accused claimed that there was no premature destruction of it, but the relevant records are related to wrong settings and deactivations. Thus began the correspondence of the judicial authorities with the Chinese company, without clarifying anything, while the side of the killer did not submit a relevant private expertise, as had been reported.

This is about premeditation which will affect the length of B's sentence. But even strangling is usually considered premeditation as the murderer can stop doing it at any time.

This is a journalist who talked about the mysterious cars in her programme.
I prefer to trust the Police :)

Was the friend lying?
