Lawsuit against Babis Anagnostopoulos for the murder of Caroline's dog
The lawsuit was filed by an animal welfare association

A lawsuit against Babis Anagnostopoulos was filed by the animal welfare association for the murder of Roxy, Caroline's dog, as reported by ANT1. It is recalled that Caroline's killer on the night of the crime also killed the dog, hanging it with a rope on the stairs, wanting to set up a scene of robbery after murder, in the family maisonette in Glyka Nera.

The dog was adopted by the family a few months before the heinous crime that shook Greece. Following the revelation that the killer was Babis Anagnostopoulos, the animal welfare association from which the dog was adopted had made a moving post on the subject.

The post of the Marathon Animal Welfare Association:

"A few days ago, the whole of Greece was shocked by the tragic death of Caroline in Glyka Nera. As a club we would like to write a few words in the memory of this wonderful girl because we had the honor to know her. It was early December when our volunteer phone rang and we heard an angelic voice asking to adopt one of our many homeless animals. The appointment was closed for the next day on the one hand with Roxy and on the other the sweet Caroline hug with little Lydia and Babi. They fell in love with our little one and it was not long before they left, this time in the arms of their new family member, little Roxy. Caroline's family was one of those who we volunteers consider role models. We had no doubt that our little one would now live full of love and care. Caroline you were an earthly angel, in every sense of the word. To be precise, your name should be next to the entry "ANGEL" in the dictionary. A beacon of light of kindness, kindness, generosity and true love for the homeless. You do not deserve death and oblivion. You deserve eternal memory and gratitude. From all of us. Good heavens to you and our little Roxy. Together from up there you will protect little Lydia ".

Can you go to jail for killing someone's dog?

Penal Code 597 PC is the primary California statute that sets forth the crime of animal abuse – which is defined as maliciously killing, harming, maiming, or torturing a living animal. The charge can be filed as either a misdemeanor or a felony and carries a sentence of up to 3 years in jail or prison.

What happens if someone kills your dog?

Generally, a pet owner can obtain financial compensation in a few different ways: Animal cruelty – If someone was cruel to your pet, you can file a criminal charge against the individual. As part of the sentencing, the court may require the defendant to financially compensate the pet owner.

The above is US law so I guess Greek law is similar.

From the above link:

The daily life of Babis Anagnostopoulos in prisons

Regarding the daily life of the murderer, his inmate states that Babis works in the prison canteen and in general "he is calm, he takes care of some animals we have here, Korydallos has several cats and the rest of the day he is in his cell and studying books he has with him, without knowing what they are
I would never let this man near an animal ever again.

I'm in Australia so please tell me if you notice on youtube.
I remember sending a link about British TV crew approaching C's family (apart from Netflix).
I wonder if this is the programme.

Don't think the title of the program is correct . Babis did NOT fool anyone . It was only a matter of time before police proved his guilt .

I have translated the article above in case you are unable to.

According to what was broadcast on Alpha's show "Super Katerina", the pilot and his lawyer, Alexandros Papaioannidis, are looking to find out what are the points of the documentary that will give them the impetus to take legal action against Channel 5 and in fact , it seems that they have identified 5 such points.

The 5 points that bother Babis Anagnostopoulos

1. The closed marriage in Portugal

The closed wedding of the undefeated Caroline with the pilot, in Portugal is mentioned in the Channel 5 documentary, as for the Greek data, the wedding is a big and important event in the life of a couple.

2. The perfect family on Instagram

Another point that Caroline Krauts's confessed killer did not seem to like at all was that the narrator of the documentary implied that the couple's life was perfect only on social media and the posts they shared with their online friends.

3. Caroline Krauts's diary

Caroline Krauts's diary, which was also a key finding for the authorities, refers to the documentary and describes the young mother's fear of talking to her husband about the changes her hormones have caused after giving birth.

4. The brutal murder

Babis Anagnostopoulos, what he does not seem to stand at all are the descriptions that are heard in the documentary. The journalists who speak in the documentary call the incident a "brutal murder", thus exposing the wild instincts of the pilot.

5. The security camera card

Babi Anagnostopoulos's defensive line wants the pilot to have killed the unfortunate Caroline in a panic. However, in the documentary, the murder is presented as methodical.

The outburst of Andreas Mikroutsikos
At the end of the show's reportage, Andreas Mikroutsikos broke out against Babis Anagnostopoulos and described him as a "drachma-eating monster".

" To have slaughtered my wife and become an admittedly drachma-eating monster ει He also asks for money άλλο Another element has entered! He also asks for money for all this monster… He also asks for money, I can not even articulate it ", said the presenter in a strong style.

" I see the pilot and I want to vomit and apologize for some expressions I use that can be heavy. They come to me spontaneously and that is the truth. Not only me, those of you who watch and see this beast vomit you want to do… Let me be sued for what I said ", added Katerina Keinourgiou.

" It makes no sense to argue about a monster who killed his wife and put the child on top. And he orchestrated it and he had a whole society and he went and cried at the grave… ", added Andreas Mikroutsikos.
