I agree, it would be good to know whether these words have come directly from B's mouth. I've only seen him being interviewed twice by the press. I believe this is the first interview and my recollection is that although he appears to be keen to get away from the journalists and into his car, he gets back out to talk about how he hopes this won't ever happen to another family and that he's confident the police will catch the perps.
Then there's another interview, which I can't find, where he's looking upset and covering his face with his hands. No idea what he's saying in that one.
