The robberies should have been dealt with earlier - when were committed. Now when this tragic case exploded spectacularly and internationally (thanks to British press) police want to catch all perps of all robberies at once. Well, better late than never.
Really? Two hundred robberies over the last five years and they haven't been investigating them? How do they have 300 photos of "marked robbers" if they haven't investigated the crimes?

I think one reason they are investigating this case aggressively is because a murder took place. I don't think that means they haven't investigated the other crimes. Are Greek police really that negligent?

If EM (fake hypnotherapist) was feeding information to a gang, would it not make more sense for the burglars to strike when the property was empty and the occupiers were out? Especially if they have inside information of what money is there, that seems far simpler than killing animals, tying up victims, risking neighbours hearing and most importantly killing innocent people unnecessarily. Burglars generally want to be in and out asap.
I'm struggling to figure out why they killed Caroline after being told where the money was.

Apparently they had already paid most of the money for the 100,000-euro plot of land, and detectives believe the burglars thought the money was still in the house. Imo

Vima: LE have questions, including:

* Why are there no signs of struggle on the body or traces of genetic material on the 20-year-old's nails?
* Why did they press her head for four to five minutes while with one or two minutes of pressure she would faint?
* Why didn't they take the couple's cell phones with them or destroy them?...

* Why didn't the perpetrators bring a roll of adhesive tape or other material to tie the tenants?
* Why is only the memory card missing from the home camera?
* Why did the neighbors not hear voices?

I could answer all these questions with one three-word sentence, but it would be against TOS.

But I do admire those of you trying to make sense of all the inconsistencies!

In today's news they revealed another small part from his report to the LE. He mentioned that he never saw or heard the dog barking or anything and that he saw her (Roxy) hanging from her lease only after the police men released him. As he walked down the stairs.
I don't believe his statement for even one second. This crime was personal.

I hope some of the jewelry ends up at a pawn shop and LE can track down who sold it. I wonder if B was able to provide receipts for all the jewelry that was stolen.
Oh, I don't think that the jewelry will ever show up in a pawn shop.

[snipped by me]
Of course this could be seen as romantic/caring/attentive etc etc.
There can be a dark side to it though.
Just my general observation of course.
I call it a control freak and domination.

Well, statistics show that many of the women who're killed by their partners or ex partners are killed because they were trying to break free of them.
And, this is exactly what I think was happening in this situation.

None of the articles seem to reveal their source. I thought I also read that they had four cats and that Caroline loved animals. I wonder if she was the one who wanted to rescue the dog from the shelter.
I totally believe that it was she who loved animals and the dog. I think that it was her love for the dog that resulted in the death of the dog. Someone wanted her to see the dog that she loved, suffer. This is personal. Someone wanted her to suffer as well. This was total rage. IMO, the scene was staged to cover a brutal murder.

The Georgian is no longer a POI in C's murder. LE couldn't connect him to it. Is he a suspect in a different murder?
And....I bet all the details about the crime was in the news so that anyone could copycat the crime.

Was it ever explained why they had so many cameras inside the house? I understand having a baby monitor or two but 6 or 8 cameras seems excessive. Was someone keeping an eye on someone else when they weren't home? Hmmm...
BBM: I think you have already answered your own question and I agree.

Well, we don't know what jewelry existed in the first place, or what the value was. If there are no receipts then there is no evidence of what was actually taken. Imo

I think she was the animal lover, too. That's why I believe she wanted to open a cat sanctuary on the property. It would have been the perfect place. I don't know that the perp wanted the dog to suffer, but it was obviously killed by a ruthless person who wanted it out of the way. Definitely not an animal lover. If someone close to her was involved in the crime, then they must have had an awful lot of anger inside. Based on the crime scene, it doesn't seem like it was a crime of passion. I would expect it to be more disorganized if she was killed in a fit of rage. Imo

I guess I sounded unfair towards police. But I meant relevant robberies connected to this case, not ALL ones all over Greece.

Has B mentioned the dog since? I appreciate if your wife has been murdered it wouldn’t be your highest priority, but he was still a family pet killed in an equally brutal way that would surely also be upsetting IMO

I don't think I have ever been so confused about a case, and it's not just the language problem. It's that we are constantly hearing so many differing "facts", and haven't been able to sort them out, which seems strange as it didn't just happen yesterday. I still don't know what are the true facts about eg B's position in the house, where the money was, could or couldn't B have phoned for help, etc, etc, etc. I'm not sure if this is "fishy" or not.

Yes that's right, however I still think the events of that night don't fit right.

When did B give them a tape and a string? He must have gone somewhere to collect them. Or told them where to find these articles. So one was strangling C, one went to collect tape and string and one was holding B at the gun point?

Why was the house absolutely devoid of security and even with open basement window? And you keep large sum of money and valuables in such an unprotected house? And all this while there are robberies in neighbourhood?

TheCaller

Therapist again. You should scroll to the middle of the page. It seems that she didn't go to police with "revelations".
