@MsBetsy I don’t think it’s accurate to say the people don’t need to be unhappy to see a therapist Anxiety, stress, and insomnia are all symptoms of depression, for example. Problems with one’s children are a major source of unhappiness too. People often don’t want to tell their friends and family that they’re in therapy. We don’t know whether CC and Bs therapy sessions were kept as a private matter that no-one else was aware of until it appeared in the press.
I’d also be interested to know what her friend was saying in her interview. She certainly had a lot to say.
Well, that's just my opinion based on my experience working in the mental health field. It's true that anxiety, stress, and insomnia can be symptoms of depression but they can also occur on their own. Some people might need help when they are going through a stressful situation. You can be having a minor issue in a healthy relationship and go to therapy. There really are no set rules when it comes to reasons for seeing a therapist.

I actually think I saw that back there, too. Is it the one where they say the sketch isn't all that helpful? It really is a terrible sketch. It looks like it could be any number of evil comic book characters. I don't think I have ever seen a sketch like that in any investigation.
I agree - it looks farcical.

in.gr June 16:

Mrs. Mylonopoulou, who had been summoned to the Hellenic Police from the first 24 hours after the murder, had testified on certain issues of friction, but not of "high intensity".

What? The marriage wasn't fairytale perfect??? Did EM change her 'testimony'?

Police have recorded the critical testimony of the pilot, the only eyewitness who described the robbers' intrusion through an open basement window, surprising the couple who were sleeping in the small attic of the maisonette.

Wouldn't the dog have woken them up as soon as she heard the intruders?

...while 20-year-old Caroline started shouting and as a result she was killed.

Why didn't the neighbor hear her?

Some of LE's own questions:

Why do not there seem to be any signs of struggle on the body or traces of genetic material on the nails of the unfortunate girl...?

Why did the perpetrators, although otherwise so careful, not take with them or destroy the couple's cell phones ...?

Why did neighbors not hear voices from the couple's efforts to resist the robbers?

Wasn't she seeing the fake therapist for postnatal depression?

Why was it arranged for CC to see the fake therapist rather than a medical practitioner. ? Was it because they would insist on speaking to CC on her own ,which would mean B would not be able to control the narrative? Any loving husband would want the best and most appropriate treatment for their wife.

My interpretation of the noises that woke up the neighbour was that Roxy didn't bark at the intrusion, because that would have been an extended period of time getting the window out of its fixings in the wall, and then climbing the stairs to the next floor, but she reacted very loudly to the atrocities that were being done to her.

I have to ask -

1. why didn't B and C hear their own dog's loud resistance to being brutally attacked since it woke the neighbour, and then also the noise of her death, and much scrambling around on the staircase?
2. why didn't Roxy bark at the intrusion of malicious strangers?
3. why if she didn't bark at the intrusion and she was in her crate did the robbers bother doing anything to her, while the noise they then created with their protracted method of restraining and killing Roxy was loud enough to raise the neigbours?
4. why did the robbers think the couple wouldn't have been disturbed by that noise and already phoned for help by the time they scaled the stairs to the attic? Instead they must have searched the house for materials to use and weren't bothered about the couple until last. It would make more sense if they had split up and two would immediately go to the attic to control the couple, while one managed the dog.
5. why did they not devise a quick and silent plan for killing the dog, like bashing her over the head or stabbing her in her crate?
6. why, if the neighbour was awakened by the dog and looked at the clock, did she not hear Caroline's yells for help in the next minutes?

I think the case could be resolved by understanding the true sequence of what happened, guided by the noises and the absence of noises, and applying common sense.

Definitely looks like controlling behaviour, and combine this with the numerous amount of cameras within their home! Plus the apparent love bombing at the beginning of the relationship. I see red flags here guys!

A Big welcome to Websleuths. What are the views of the people you are discussing this with?

Thank you for offering help with translations, we are so grateful to have people willing to do this.

Nothing new has been published in the media so far and the only thing which is worth noting is the latest interview with retired brigadier general police officer Mr. Thanasis Katerinopoulos. Here is a link to the interview

The majority of people who write on the hashtag suspect that the spouse of Caroline has something to do with the murder. We are tormented by unanswered questions. The outrageous details that the pilot has given to the police do not make any sense and contradict themselves. We do not have enough proof that a robbery actually happened.

Thank you Muglericuous, and welcome to Websleuths! We were hoping someone would come along who could translate that interview. I didn't realize it was new.

I do have a couple of questions. Is it common for police to offer such a huge reward so early in a murder case? I know they want all the tips they can get but it seems like a lot of money.

Also, LE have not released many official updates. Do police generally give the public regular updates or do they only hold a Press Conference when there is something significant to report? It's been so quiet, but I'm hoping it's because they are busy following leads. TIA

Do you want me to translate this word by word or translate the most important information that the police officer gives?

I'm 49 yo, i'm not a police officer, I have never seen anything like this before in the past so no it is not common for the police to offer such a huge reward this early.

There is no official announcement from the police yet, they usually give a press conference after the end of a successful investigation. All information we have is from the press and from syndicalists of the police but they do NOT have information official for the investigation as they say.

this sketch is not the official police one, police didn't publish their sketch yet, this one is something
they tried to do in the broadcast tv show "FOS sto TOUNEL" that investigates disappearance cases.

Hi and Welcome!
I don't have the link handy, but would be very interested to know what Caroline's friend was saying in her interview. It was quite long, and I wouldn't dream of asking you to translate it verbatim, but to have the jist would be great whenever you have a chance. Thank you so much :)

I can't remember how long it was between B phoning the police with his nose and the police arriving (8, 9, 10 minutes?) but I've been wondering what he did while he was waiting. However long it was, it must have felt like an eternity.
He claims that he didn't know his wife was dead until the police told him, but surely during the period whilst he was waiting, he wasn't just sitting there in the room oblivious to his wife's fate? His child was apparently on the bed beside her, trying to get a response. Wouldn't you think the first thing he'd do after he sensed the 'burglars' had left, would be to try to turn himself towards his wife and child, try to see through the chink in the tape covering his eyes, try to communicate with Caroline, try to make reassuring noises to his baby...?
None of this has been mentioned.
What we're left with is the idea that he sat/crouched/knelt/lay/hid? doing and saying nothing. Even his tiny baby, unsecured on the bed nearby, prioritised trying to work out what was up with mum.

Ok so he manages to dial a number with his nose and manages to make himself understood.

Seeing he can make himself understood, does he call out for his wife and get no response. Not sure if I missed reading that part. Or was he afraid the bad guys were still there.
He must have felt they were gone, otherwise he probably wouldn't have tried using the phone.

It was very handy that the bad guys left it within reach. Was he able to see out of his face covering or did he have to feel around for the phone.

Ok, thank you. Here they usually give regular updates, at least to say how the investigation is progressing, how many tips they've recieved, what agencies are working on the investigation, etc. They usually don't share specific details about the investigation either. In fact I'm surprised we've heard so many in this case, especially details only the perps would know.

I'm assuming the reward is being offered because the investigation extends to other countries and they want any information they can get about all the robberies in the area.
