in.gr June 16:
Mrs. Mylonopoulou, who had been summoned to the Hellenic Police from the first 24 hours after the murder, had testified on certain issues of friction, but not of "high intensity".
What? The marriage wasn't fairytale perfect??? Did EM change her 'testimony'?
Police have recorded the critical testimony of the pilot, the only eyewitness who described the robbers' intrusion through an open basement window, surprising the couple who were sleeping in the small attic of the maisonette.
Wouldn't the dog have woken them up as soon as she heard the intruders?
...while 20-year-old Caroline started shouting and as a result she was killed.
Why didn't the neighbor hear her?
Some of LE's own questions:
Why do not there seem to be any signs of struggle on the body or traces of genetic material on the nails of the unfortunate girl...?
Why did the perpetrators, although otherwise so careful, not take with them or destroy the couple's cell phones ...?
Why did neighbors not hear voices from the couple's efforts to resist the robbers?
My interpretation of the noises that woke up the neighbour was that Roxy didn't bark at the intrusion, because that would have been an extended period of time getting the window out of its fixings in the wall, and then climbing the stairs to the next floor, but she reacted very loudly to the atrocities that were being done to her.
I have to ask -
1. why didn't B and C hear their own dog's loud resistance to being brutally attacked since it woke the neighbour, and then also the noise of her death, and much scrambling around on the staircase?
2. why didn't Roxy bark at the intrusion of malicious strangers?
3. why if she didn't bark at the intrusion and she was in her crate did the robbers bother doing anything to her, while the noise they then created with their protracted method of restraining and killing Roxy was loud enough to raise the neigbours?
4. why did the robbers think the couple wouldn't have been disturbed by that noise and already phoned for help by the time they scaled the stairs to the attic? Instead they must have searched the house for materials to use and weren't bothered about the couple until last. It would make more sense if they had split up and two would immediately go to the attic to control the couple, while one managed the dog.
5. why did they not devise a quick and silent plan for killing the dog, like bashing her over the head or stabbing her in her crate?
6. why, if the neighbour was awakened by the dog and looked at the clock, did she not hear Caroline's yells for help in the next minutes?
I think the case could be resolved by understanding the true sequence of what happened, guided by the noises and the absence of noises, and applying common sense.
