I'm so sorry for the confusion, the article does mention bruises on the body, but it's in tiny print and easy to miss. These are different from the facial injuries. Sometimes I read so fast, things go past me! Ok, so, here is the Internewscast.com link again, with the screenshot to show you where it mentions the bruises. Could these bruises be from an older fight?

Thanks! I guess it depends on the location of the bruising, if they are not referring to contusions on the face, eyelids and neck. The ME can tell if the bruises are older or recent. She may have had bruising just from the struggle. It would be easier if we could read the actual autopsy report, but from what I've read so far her injuries sound consistent with other findings in asphyxiation deaths. Imo

Surveillance software/apps have a "hidden mode" and they can actually watch your screen in real time, there are lots of them and they are available for all devices.
Privacy laws make this illegal but I don't think it's enforced, to get around legalities they are usually marketed to monitor your kids, yet some don't even pretend.

I do not agree with AK that a husband does not just decide to murder his wife because she wants a divorce. I think that's exactly why he killed her.

The Cash: B explained to LE how he was able to buy the plot of land and hire contractors to build their dream house. As a helicopter pilot working in Greece, he doesn't make all that much money. According to the Salary Expert, such pilots start out around 30K euros a year, average about 43K, and cap out at roughly 54K euros a year. Another site, Salary Explorer, puts the average at 46K, so the two sources give a ballpark - B is not making the big bucks. That doesn't include bonuses or perks etc... but still, ... He claims to have put a down payment on the project and then got a huge loan from the bank, along with private loans from both his and C's parents. All in all, the new home will cost $245K euro.

Yes, I meant I didn't see any mention of bruising on the body from the statements in the autopsy report. If there were other injuries, that will probably come out eventually. We seem to get information in bits and pieces. But yes, bruising can occur from grabbing the arms tightly, holding or squeezing the wrists, pressing a knee into the back, etc.

Yes if earlier in the evening when she was trying to book accommodation three times just after midnight. Also I read that he put cotton in her mouth so it may have occurred when he was doing this.

I know that it's very unlikely to happen, and that, should it happen, it would be heartbreaking for both families, but I feel that it would be better if baby Lydia has her name changed, and is given to a 3rd party to be raised by, preferably somewhere other than Greece. Her maternal grandparents, I'd imagine, are not capable of caring for a baby/child, considering that they are grieving for their daughter's gruesome death, Caroline's father has health problems AND they live in a tiny island, where everyone knows each other, and they all know who Lydia is and her tragic story. Staying with her father's family is not ideal either, because certainly, when she grows up, she's gonna have questions. And even if they present her a more child-friendly version of the story, all she has to do, in order to find out the truth, is browse the web. Not to mention that the *** will spend, at best, 20 years in prison, and once he's out, he'll definitely try to contact her and tell her the same BS he says now (Your mom was crazy/was abusing me/it happened by accident/I only had your best interest in mind etc). If she stays here, unfortunately, she'll find out what happened, sooner or later. In order to have a shot at a normal childhood/life, IMO, she must not find out who she is or what her father did.

On age: Internationally, C was legally 19 years old when B murdered her. In some parts of Greece, however, like China and Japan, she was considered 20, since some people still follow the tradition of counting the gestation period as a year. This helps make sense of the press referring to her as 20, but... why was her daughter referred to as 11 months instead of a year and 11 months? Who knows, regardless of 19 or 20, her relationship with B was not normal.
