I wouldn’t have thought so with all this continued blabbing to the media
Sorry that was in relation to post re whether mental health specialist is still considered a credible witness. (I usually mess up the quote/reply when on my mobile)

That would be interesting to know.
As B could have threatened (or warned) him there.

He may or may not have committed suicide, but I don’t believe it was because he was upset about what B had done (not enough to decide his own life wasn’t worth living).

Was SD openly gay? If not, shame could be a motivation (just based on what others have said re macho Greek culture, nothing more).

Otherwise I think he was driven by fear - of revelations and repercussions for him and/or his family IMO

It's amazing what forensics can do. Was the memory card plastic? If so, it would not have been affected by water. B cut it into pieces so they could easily put it together again surely.
I think LE already has the data from the camera footage. I assume they got the information from one or both cellphones. Although if they do have the memory card, I guess it's possible they can retrieve more data. It might help uncover more information about the weeks or days before the murder, although I don't know how long the data is stored. I've heard that some cameras only hold information for a week or so.

Either way, I think LE has the crucial information from the data, which shows the last image of "B" texting on his phone just before disabling the camera. Imo

I thought the same but apparently water damage is quite common in photography and the data can be retrieved once dried out. I guess it depends on the amount of damage.
Yes, I'm not really a tech person, but depending on how much data was stored in the cloud, I'm wondering if LE has more data than what they've revealed. Was it actually LE who said they retrieved the memory card and are hoping to access it?

Tomorrow is a very important day for baby L. Authorities will decide her future. I pray for her with all my heart. And I believe her Mother's love will somehow direct those who are chosen to decide. Because Mother knows what is best for her little daughter. Her love didn't die and never will.

I think she will be a credible witness. LE has always described her as "crucial" to the investigation and she was able to confirm that there was conflict in the marriage. It's probably not a wise decision to keep making statements to the media, though. But still, any information given to LE can be used in court to solidify their case. There are likely many more details she was able to provide, especially about B's individual sessions, that we have yet to hear. Imo

Yes, I think this is when they determine who will have temporary custody until the final decision is made about three months from now. <modsnip>

No, I haven’t seen anything official, it was from a comment someone made and stating Nassosblog as the source. I can’t see anything on there. It’s probably speculation, I’m sure the media will report if it’s true.

Like others have said, I really thought after B's confession all would go quiet until sentencing, how wrong was I? I'm currently struggling to catch up with the thread

LE has gone quiet but the media has not. I don't think they are used to high profile cases like this in Greece.

Glyka Nera: Mega revelation - "The 32-year-old was afraid to go to Alonissos for the Caroline memorial"

Γλυκά Νερά: Αποκάλυψη Mega - «Φοβόταν να πάει στην Αλόννησο για το μνημόσυνο της Καρολάιν ο 32χρονος» - TheCaller

According to information from MEGA , the killer wanted to avoid the memorial of his wife, as he was shaking the whispers in Alonissos and the residents who had begun to suspect him. In addition, the 33-year-old was afraid to drive his car and chose his motorcycle, so that he could hide from the eyes of those who suspected him of the brutal murder of the 20-year-old. As if he felt that his time was running out, the 33-year-old husband-killer, a few days before going to Alonissos, told people he was talking to that he was afraid to go to the island. How he was afraid of the inhabitants of the island but not his mother-in-law.

The Fairytale Wedding That Ended in a Nightmare - Caroline's Hell. Watch the video - new photos

Γλυκά Νερά: Ο παραμυθένιος γάμος που κατέληξε σε εφιάλτη – Η κόλαση της Καρολάιν | MEGA TV

The revelations of C's mental health counselor bring a complete reversal to the Freshwater case. The image of the happy couple she originally described has nothing to do with what she is revealing today. According to what she describes now, the relationship was at an end. There has been no love affair between them since November. In February, the sessions were suspended following a message C sent. "C lived in a state of terror, she was afraid of Babi." On the one hand she was determined to leave him and on the other that, she will not do it because she was thinking about Lydia". The 33-year-old did not attend most of the sessions. C had never spoken about the reason for his absence, but she seemed more comfortable without him. Last February, the sessions were interrupted. But was she was the one who sent the message? the lawyer of the consultant wonders. "It is not ruled out that the message for the suspension of the sessions in mid-February was sent by the pilot from Caroline's cell phone."

Mystery with hidden notes. Police sources refute the publication of the British newspaper, saying that Caroline kept a diary in electronic form, which they found and that it is part of the case file.

IMO LE are keeping the contents of C's secret diary under wraps at the moment as they don't wish to add it to the case file which would mean that B's lawyer would have access to it while they investigate other aspects of the case.

What? Our little narc prince charming was afraid of something? Clearly he must've just said it for sympathy, ya?

Did not care about her? Didn't help financially? Hmmm, sounds like my narc parent, who did the same.

EM noted that C was clearly afraid of B, but wouldn't tell EM why. ...επειδή ήταν ξεκάθαρο πως τον φοβόταν, χωρίς ποτέ να της πει τον λόγο.

That's code for 'Dear all mighty and powerful drug lords, I know not your potential involvement with B, please do not kill me or my family. Thanks.'

Good point. EM has employed security. But has she told police or will she testify in court as to what C said was the reason? Or maybe knowing how secretive C was, she didn't tell EM. Also did B actually have sessions with EM?

Today's events:

1. We will hear who has been given temporary custody of Lydia.
2. B's brother is visiting him in jail.
