The victim's mother has requested sole custody, while the father of the killer is requesting custody and the child to live with him for the six winter months in Athens and the other six in Alonissos. The lawyer of the victim's family assessed that what the perpetrator's family is asking for is "technically impossible". He added that the biggest role in the decision of the Prosecutor will not be played by the financial surface of the families but by the environment in which the child will live and what is his interest. Finally, she said that the report of the social worker from her autopsy in Alonissos is excellent, as she considered that the environment is excellent.
"And in Alonissos, (the baby) Caroline will be personified and you understand with what affection they will embrace it… Even the mayor of Alonissos called me and told me 'how the child will come to Alonissos. We are waiting for it - the whole society '".

" We submitted a request to take care of Caroline's mother because it is the most suitable environment as in Athens little Lydia will be the daughter of the murderer, in Alonissos the child who lost his mother ", the lawyer stated characteristically and continued: "I was shocked when I read the report of the social worker that little Lydia, although a newborn, can save scenes of violence. I think LE already has the data from the camera footage. I assume they got the information from one or both cellphones. Although if they do have the memory card, I guess it's possible they can retrieve more data. It might help uncover more information about the weeks or days before the murder, although I don't know how long the data is stored. I've heard that some cameras only hold information for a week or so.

Either way, I think LE has the crucial information from the data, which shows the last image of "B" texting on his phone just before disabling the camera. Imo

I assumed he erased what's stored on the camera and cloud, a memory card stores however much data it is designed to hold, it doesn't erase anything after a set time like a camera.
It doesn't even auto erase to create space when it's full, you can see how much space you have and when it's full, you get another. You can take them out and hide your archived data, instead of leaving your photos, videos, or whatever, on the device.
Everything is preserved and you can stick those cards into a computer and see it all.

I agree. My parents never helped me so I did not help my children. We are all very comfortable financially now. But in some cultures parents do help - even buying the couple their first house which their parents did for them.

I did not realise that B had complained that both parents did not help financially but obviously he must have cried poor. By 33yo, most people I know have purchased their first home whether married or not but I live in Australia. B was obviously living above his means.

Yes I think police played a game with the truth so that B did not flee Greece in the helicopter while they were gathering evidence. Now gradually the truth is coming out.

Plus he didn't pause between killing Caroline and going down to hang the puppy, the latter done because people wouldn't think he would be capable of that, so the 'house invasion' as a narrative was obviously thought through well in advance.

I interpret that to mean that B's parents would make a 5 day trip to the island of Alonissos once a month and can see the baby on those days at 10am in the morning then she goes home for lunch and then again at 2pm.

Indeed. So his "blurring" while holding Caroline's face in the pillow for 6 minutes quickly cleared and cognitive function was immediately restored to start setting the scene...or he planned it all beforehand and Roxy was next on his list.

In think there will be several motives for C's murder. My predictions:

1. I think she could have found out that B was a closet gay and that meant that she would not have a sex life forever and he would be unfaithful to her with men but he wanted to stay married for respectability's sake at first. Later, he feared C would tell family and friends about it.

2. C could have found out that B was involved in illegal activities and threatened to tell police.

3. His gang boss found out C knew so demanded that B murder C.

4. B thought he could get away with it by blaming the robbers and he would then own the new house by himself. I am assuming C, as his wife, would own half of the new house even though he bought it in his own name. We don't know if C had a life insurance policy.

The sentence to be imposed on the murderer Babis Anagnostopoulos was mentioned on the show Proino.

The well-known criminologist Michalis Dimitrakopoulos stated characteristically: "If the sentence that will be imposed on him is life imprisonment, then he will really have to spend 16 years in prison and up to 20 he will complete them with part-time work.
