I’m not watching live so I’m not sure if they’re on a break? The reporters that have been tweeting all morning have stopped.
ETA: I just checked a live feed and looks like they’re on a break.

Let me count the ways the jury is to feel so so sorry for Skylar:
1. Her brain is only 12
2. She’s afraid of lots and lots of people.
3. She’s a MeToo survivor
4. She has no common sense
5. She buys poor kids stuff
6. She is working every spare moment on finding a cure for cancer...oh wait...that wasn’t testified to....YET, was it?
Let’s call off this trial and elect her Prom Queen and be done with it.
On Cross: This is all due to self-reporting, correct?
..Not intended to assess the veracity of the information correct?

The prosecution just established the motive by talking to the defense witness about the report from 1970 that is still being used today.
Well, Bassman's turn on the stand sure was interesting.
The best blow the State landed on cross IMO wasn't so much the drawn out presentation of the characteristics of women who kill their babies on the day of birth, but Bassman's declarations he knew nothing about the topic, was unfamiliar with the studies, etc.
His resistance gave Kraft multiple opportunities to drill in to the jury that everything on the list of characteristics described Skylar.
That an expert psych witness testifying in this particular trial wasn't aware of standard research on who kills their just born babies (whether or not he agrees with the research or finds it applicable) puts a big dent in his credibility, imo.
He did best, imo, in countering the "leaps" Kraft made when drawing conclusions of guilt from circumstances in which multiple interpretations were equally or more plausible/likely.
Overall everything aside, WTH about Skylar being sexually abused at 12. Wonder if her mother knew.
Welcome to Websleuths @Cindizzi!
And thanks for reminding me of the text above, as I believe it's another incident where BSR lied to mom.
I don't think she sent a photo because she was most likely not bossing it on the treadmill as she alleged.
I recall that text was sent about 3:30ish pm on 5/5/17 -- just hours before prom, and when she was beginning to feel the discomfort of labor.
Nope -- don't think she was bossing the treadmill that afternoon.![]()
Don't forget she helped waitresses clear the table and that she worked with kids.
Big revelations this morning in baby death trial: Brooke Skylar Richardson has a 'personality disorder' and was sexually abused, psychologist testifies.
