Internment camps in Australia.

http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/snapshots/internment-camps/index.aspx

Why do these things matter? Because some people say we cannot have gun laws because Australia is so different.

I beg to differ and can list even more things such as what is happening to refugees there.

Australia and America are alike in so many ways. Of course not with income, benefits and health care

There's one important difference - Australia doesn't have a Bill of Rights. In fact it's the only country in western democracies that doesn't. That's very important when discussing the second amendment and gun rights in my opinion.

We have a constitution. We adhere to the British Bill of Rights, which the US Bill is an almost exact copy of and added amendments by your constitution.

We are all so oppressed in Australia because we don't have a bill of rights.

Okay, if you say so.

... trying to figure out how Sharia Law fits into the gun reform debate, that is all.

You're taking my post out of context. It was in response to another post, that is all.

And in 20-30 years? What other jobs for those who refuse an education?

I don't think this is a good thought forward... Sorry.
Very elitist comment, and one that dosen't include all our peeps.

Your changing the topic. It was the comparison of mass shootings between USA and AUS. Still waiting for an answer

Well, isn't it obvious? Australia does not have mass shootings because they don't have a Bill of Rights. Simple.

At least one of the walkout organizers supports Sharia law.

One. And they were not organisers, they were supporters.

by their logic, Trumps agenda is proven to be the same as the KKK because David Duke is a supporter right?

People who work in mining have horrible health issues.

Many people that use their bodies including highly paid athletes end up with health issues.

You have solved it!

Maybe they can all work in solar mines. :)

But IMO we send our kids to get an education, not to get job training. It's sending the wrong message to discourage them because the unemployment rate is at whatever percent. I don't know how that makes sense anywhere.

What has Australia got to do with the U.S.A. mass shooting/school shooting debate anyway? America has the problem and not Australia. JS.

Not in Australia where mining is highly regulated to workplace safety.
