I thought Salem said its ok for SA just not BD???? not sure about that one though!

Two different SA's. Shawn Adkins and a blog site that is not allowed.

The bigger question is why did he tell them a county to look in instead of a town such as Snyder??? I don't refer to where I live as Stonewall County. I live in Aspermont which just happens to be in Stonewall County. We only refer to our county's during weather updates.
I've wondered the same thing. I live in Texas, and rarely refer to the different counties. When I hear counties mentioned on the news, I sometimes have to wrack my brain on what towns are located where. I get even more confused with Louisiana parishes. Honestly, I don't know anybody who would refer to a county, unless the location they were referring to was outside of city limits...and couldn't be identified by a town or street address, etc...like a wooded area or something along those lines. Does the site of where Haley's remains were found, have an actual address?

If I remember right wasn't the lake located just near the county line?

If the info came from one of the many polys SA apparently took or halfway took or started to take then maybe the questioner asked about county and his answer was yes?

the wording bothers me. As you folks have said, most folks refer to towns not counties in general conversation.

During the second phase of the polygraph ADKINS was questioned in reference to where Hailey Dunn could be found and ADKINS made a positive indication that Hailey Dunn could be found in Scurry County, Texas. When the third phase of the polygraph was started to refine the location of Hailey Dunn in Scurry County, Texas ADKINS refused to complete the polygraph examination and walked out of the Police Department.

JMO. I don't think it's Shawn's wording. In polygraphs you generally answer yes-no questions and don't supply place names or other information. It sounds to me like the investigators were asking him questions about different counties that Hailey could be in and Scurry county stood out in his answers. Then they were hoping to narrow it down by asking more specific questions about the location but SA wouldn't do it any more.

ETA: I kinda wonder if he freaked out because the follow up questions told him that he had given himself away about Scurry county.

Her remains being found would at least give LE something new to use in applying pressure to the various parties who might have more knowledge than they have provided.

Right now, before any info has been released to any party as to evidence which may or may not have been found in relation to the body, right now is the perfect time for anyone who is concerned they are about to be arrested to start giving up what they know.

According to our news kwes channel 9, Hailey's body has not been released to the family. The last I heard was they were waiting on cause of death to be determined.

maybe they used Scurry County meaning she wasn't within the city limits of either town? i.e.. do you know if she is in Synder? Do you know if she is in Colorado City? Do you know if she is in Scurry County?

Awesome............let's get this job done!

I hope they are able to determine COD. But even if they can't, they should release her remains sometime soon. They can't have much/any in the way or tissue or fluids to test, so retaining bone samples and hair if available for future testing is all that should be required, as far as I can tell. The only way I can see being able to determine how she died is if they happen to have a specific bone (from throat for example) to show she was choked, or a bone with a gunshot mark or knife markings.

Given she was found in Scurry county this bit intrigues me more than it ever did! The wording is "Adkins made a positive indication" to the question that Hailey could be found in Scurry county. I think it is very possible he had a distinct biological reaction to that place over others, that he never said anything self-incriminating, and while he showed deception for all questions about her location, Scurry County stood out enough to make the record.

Now as for the weirdness of Billie's "mind at ease" check on Hailey. The bit that sticks out as odd to me is that she says she never touched her and confirmed her identity. Many mothers routinely check children in their beds. I even sometimes get up and check the child who's in my room. But when Billie recounts this it takes a sinister tone. Was Billie's mind not at ease because she feared something had occurred during the night while she was perhaps too drugged to know? Is this incident a lie and part of alibi building? She certainly allows in her account for the possibility that not all was well with Hailey at this point, that her check was not thorough. Is this a small expression of a doubt or concern about that night if the account is accurate, and if it is made up or significantly untrue, a small finger pointed at Shawn just in case?

RE: who drove BJD to work on Monday am?

The longstanding account was that a co-worker or friend drove BJD to work on Monday, morning after HD was last seen by DD playing on the playstation Sunday evening.

Is it correct that SA was actually the person who drove BJD to work Monday am?

Why do we have two dramatically different answers to that simple question? Particularly when the whereabouts of a missing 13 year old girl was in question and now, 2.5 years later, discovered dead?

I'm so looking forward to honest answers to this and the many other longstanding questions with regard to HD's disappearance and death.

RIP sweet Hailey!

I want this cleared up too. If SA leaves work just after 6 am and BJD is leaving her house at 6:20 am, wouldn't it be likely that they crossed paths on the road while both were in transit? Was SA driving BJD's car? Wouldn't SA know that Billie could have seen him drive back to the house (if that's what happened?). I really believe he went right back to the house to rape Hailey. I suppose if Hailey was already dead and in the car he was driving, he could have driven her to the lake right away and he would never have crossed paths with BJD. Also, dogs could have picked up her death scent in that car (as well as in the house).

Do we know if cadaver dogs were used in this case? TIA

IIRC, I believe HRD dogs were used but my memory is vague on where exactly; I believe they checked the backyard/shed area, not sure about inside the BJD/SA home.

ETA: Of course, it makes zero sense to me if the HRD dogs were taken to the BJD/SA home and only checked outside and not also inside the home. JMO

has SA made any sort of statement since the body ID? Do we even know his whereabouts at this point in time? He sort of fell off my radar when things went quiet and cold in this case.
