Help locating your phone using google maps

I left my phone in my truck, the hubby is gone and he must have turned it off, it pings behind a store in town 40 miles from my house, can anyone help me? I know nothing about these new phones and all of this technology and I am ashamed to admit I was a PI but back in my day my phone was a 3 watt bag with none of these features and we didnt have the internet either, it was all leg work.
