16, iirc.

I'm getting the sisters, Fiona and Phaedra mixed up. Yes, I do remember she was 16. I would want to be with my 16 year old as well.
Hopefully Rivera points out her age.
Let's all together try to telepathically send him our thoughts.

When I think of Phaedra finding the bloody clothes.... I cannot even imagine the horror. That would be frightening to a mature adult. Ugh. Be strong, Scott 'ohana.

Its the law. If you have a minor, you have to give the parent the option of being present during the interview. I kept hoping Loo would say it.. I'm like "say she was a minor and it's the law!". Hope Rivera clears that up.

Yes, jeez, come on Loo. That would lay the whole badgering to rest and he does not say it.

Watching Pt 1 for Day 6 now as Apo tries to say that Rivera and Loo have an old alliance where Loo changes his testimony when Rivera feeds him the answer. Apo is so annoying. His voice is completely irritating. Surely a defense attorney can be compelling without going overboard like this.

Re Brooke talking about Steven during the search, this is an excellent (strong, not pulling any punches) statement she made. This video is taken Friday, the day after the clothes were found. You'll have seen it before, but I wanted to revisit it and hunted it up. I tried to cue it to the right spot: 5:42 in case it does not start there.

Loo answers the question yes sir or no sir without any further explanation. Which was probably exactly how he was instructed to do by Rivera. Rambling can get you in a pickle on the witness stand. Rivera has the opportunity to fix things not said, but he can't take back things that were said.
He better clear up why KS was in that interview with her!

I think we are all in agreement that there are several topics that have not been clarified.
If I was a juror, I wouldn't have picked up on the battery as Kapua pointed out. Nor would I have picked up on the innuendo that he would never have left that expensive and much beloved stereo system on Hana overnight. Those are just two examples. Kapua is picking things up on point.

Watching this reminds me of my comment years ago. Brooke is a force to be reckoned with. She is a presence that I feel.
She is smart, sharp and intelligently careful with her words. Apo should be the one nervous for that testimony.

"My mom is in a great deal of pain right now."
"We are not trying to treat him like the enemy, but we do have questions."

Sounds pretty reasonable to me.

OBJECTION, your Honor! Counsel is BADGERING the witness!

So SC's truck with sound system was never stuck out in Keanae. And wouldn't make sense to leave it hidden out there on purpose - get taxed or stolen. Possible he drove out there and was at Paraquats hiding tools and duct tape Saturday night.
He said Saturday night the tweaker dropped him off half mile from his house. Said Sunday night Charli picked him up on the road not at his house. Said Kyle picked him up for work Monday on the road not at his house.
Sounds like he wants to be clear no witness to say if his truck was at his house the whole time.

Maybe MPD should have been investigating me because I was at JAWS on 2/9... I mean why should the police not follow up on leads? Where else were they supposed to look? At me? At my neighbor? Bunch a Shibai Apo!

I believe the Hana Tour VAns will show Capobianco's truck was not on the road to Hana during the time he say's it was.

But don't forget this jury is from Maui or a neighboring island. They know all about stuck trucks and cars aging faster because of the salt water and rain.

SC's facebook has been tidied up. All the references to drinking and guns and knocking people up are gone. But I screenshot some of the key dates from way back when so I have my reference library.

The road to Hana is at times littered with junk cars being recycled by midnight auto enthusiasts.
