Yes, I totally agree with you about the blanket, hoodie, pants and tape being in the river and caught by the debris and about Steven not having a great plan. (I used to work by a river.) I also remain puzzled about the placement of the clothes. I think the clothing was removed to hasten decomposition (ugh, I hate getting into the gory stuff.) But why just put them on the ground under a tree? I think that SC might have left the CD there so that HE could find the clothes and get rid of them later. But why not get rid of all of the evidence Sunday night/Monday morning? He clearly did not expect the cell phone to give away the last location of Charli's cell phone, or for so many in the community to volunteer to search for her. I sure wish the police had found and recovered that cell phone! Did Charli normally carry a purse? Or did she keep her cell phone in her pocket or car? (I am surprised that the prosecution didn't ask the sisters if she had a purse with her that night, or if she normally carried one.)
The pants... God, I hope there was not another individual helping him, but you have to wonder. If it was just him and those are his pants, then he had 3 pair with him that night, or two pair pants and shorts. Seems odd for a guy who only has one shirt, LOL.
