How can the local community help find Haleigh now?

People have to go to work and feed their kids and mow their grass and go to church and find a Halloween costume etc etc. It just seems unfair to ask that they devote any more time to Haleigh. Ultimately, that's her family's responsibility.

It takes a community to raise a child.

Oh how it pains me to say this, but LE seems to be acting as supiously as the other players. I know we are trying hard not to think this and to give them the benefit of the doubt, and I know how dedicated and honorable all of the lawmen in my circle of family and friends are, but something has just not been right here. I'm so sorry if I'm wrong here, just being honest... Of course this is just my own opinion, and I could be wrong.:(:(

Not me, I'm not trying hard not to think something is terribly corrupt down there...I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt..JMHO

I know what you mean. I am getting over that pesky "benefit of the doubt" thing too. It has been questionable since the beginning, 19 long months ago! BBM

Wish Geraldo could go back now and interview Ron again, confront him about all his lies, especially about not using drugs. If RC makes MC mad enough, I bet she would spill everything to Geraldo. Maybe he should go see MC in jail and interview her now.

Hi Nomore, you do have a good point. That whole "Cobra" time was so dramatic! And poor Tim, he tried to do so much, and in my opinion seemed very unappreciated. From his point of view, he would be crazy to go into that mess again! But he is so dedicated to the missing children. I can see him thinking about doing it. God bless him.

I have the utmost respect for Tim and I have no doubt that he'd be in Satsuma in half-a-heartbeat if he had the cooperation of local LE...

I wonder if someone went back into that trailer park and started talking to people, no LE, no cameras.
I really believe the truth is there.

Hi Beyond Belief, For some reason :waitasec: I get the feeling that within minutes, if not seconds, of "someones" departure from door #1, the phone lines would be lighting up and before door #2 opened LE would be kindly asking the person if they needed directions to find their way out of town - maybe I watch too much tv... :blushing:

I think that TES was turned away was there was no money to give him for searches for Haleigh. It seems to be that they get donations from wherever they go to search and Tim must have seen it wouldn't happen there and maybe they needed to be somewhere else?

I get the same feeling, nomore. I think the whole thing was supposed to go away and it will indeed do so, in spite of pesky citizens like us who want answers and justice for this innocent child, Haleigh.

I think there are some in LE who care and want justice. But others--not so much. There may be warring going on in the PCSO between those who care and those who just want this "thing" to fade away into a distant memory. It's really looking like justice will not prevail in this case and having those involved put away on drug charges may be as good as it gets.

But even that particular justice is being tampered with.

ETA: You don't watch too much TV...your prediction is right on, IMO!

Isn't there a video of Tim saying he wouldn't go back in that mess? :waitasec: Or was that Caylee's case? I can't remember.

bolded by me....Yes, I agree with you....IMO...The truth IS there... Somebody MUST have seen something/heard something.....Somebody KNOWS more......also IMO...The truth is also there with TN and her family...There IS where the truth ...ACTUALLY IS...It begins with TN and her family....THEY KNOW THE TRUTH about Haleigh....

As to how can the community help in this case??? IMO...Keep the pressure on the LE to solve it...Hold community meetings and invite the LE to come to hear the concerns of the residents....Since the LE has called this case a homicide..then this community IS deserving of answers..It is THEIR community.......keep the pressure on the LE ....all in my own opinion...

Sorry AZ, when I posted my post about this, I hadn't read yours. I guess great minds really do travel the same path.:o

Thanks Nonni, you recognize my great mind. Not many do. LOL.

I can see and feel there is plenty of suspicion about LE in the area. That they are bumbling the investigation; they are hiding something; they aren't even close to solving this case or prepared to bring charges or make arrests.

The thing is, we don't really know what the cops have, who they have talked with; or even if they have a theory, and that is the way LE has to have it.

I suppose it is my background as a reporter that won't allow me to believe LE is not doing its job when it comes to this case. I think the suspicion rises because we are left in the dark. We have so many questions and see so many inconsistencies as to what we think we know and what has been leaked.

I feel comfortable with LE being so tight lipped about this case because I have first hand experience of how important it is that an investigation not become public. It needs to be protected and sealed.

I believe there are several people who will be charged and because of that, LE can not allow anything they know to become public, unless it would help the case.

There is a web of lies and covering up that has been woven among the principals in Haleigh's fate. If LE steps forward and releases information, facts or evidence they will give these unnamed suspects an edge to further cover their involvement.
I cannot convience anyone to see this as I do. All of us have been feeling frustrated and outraged. But it is my opinion that this case is not over, it is not cold it just needs more time to come to a conclusion. Haleigh deserves justice and that will take time.

Of course, I could be totally wrong and for that, I will take my licks. JMO

IIRC, I think Tim stated "he would never go back into Florida again"; I could be wrong though.

I agree totally, and can't help but wonder why they did not want him there? I'm sure they had their reasons, but I'm not sure they were good ones. My opinion only.:(

I just hope RC doesn't come out being given some status of "hero" by the system for giving evidence on someone else. What a pure and extreme mockery of justice.

I vaugely remember something to that effect to, but can't remember which case. He would have reason to say that about either.

I agree 100%. go to the politicians constantly. bug them, then if they don't do something, vote them out. would it help if they wrote letters, got petitions to get the FBI to investigate? Or have they already done that and left?:waitasec:

:applause::applause::applause: ITA and applaud your excellent post, AZ. Your insight into how LE works is very astute. This isn’t a movie or TV show. Knowledge is power and no matter how frustrating, aggravating or maddening it is for everyone who has carried HaLeigh in their hearts for the last 19 months, whatever LE has, it will remain a secret until they are ready to make an arrest(s). IMVHO, they will not divulge any information that will give an edge, no matter how small, to the guilty party(s) that could result in a ‘not guilty’ verdict, an acquittal, or even a ‘guilty’ verdict on a lesser charge. Withholding the information they have from the public gives them the edge and they want to ensure that the charges will stick. They will not settle for less. When arrests are made and HaLeigh’s case does come to trial, I don’t think we’ll see any “deals” being made.

This, of course, is all JMO and I could be wrong. I hope and pray that I’m not, but if I am, like you said, "I’ll take my licks", as well. :blushing:

Thanks AZ for saying that. It is so hard not to be discouraged. I too believe that LE should withhold info form the public most of the time. We, the public, can really mess things up for LE sometimes. But it just seems that if LE has certain info such as phone records, and accurate info on Ron's actual hrs. at work, they could have wapped this up already. But then, as someone here has said, "no body, no confession, no arrest." Sorry, can't remember who posted that, but thanks for letting me use it here. Thanks again for your post AZ.
