Hello from Southern Louisiana....! I wondered if you might be on the same line as any important buildings....like a hospital. That saved me in 1965. However I did make ice runs for the whole family.
They brought their ice trays (lol) and my brother made rounds on his bike. It was the hurricane that
taught me that snakes swim.

For Charley I never lost power and their was fire dept nearby that is why I think I did not

I have been watching this storm chaser's periscope----he lost connection a minute ago but I think he will come back up---he said the 125 mph winds are just 2 miles away from him right now---Rockport Texas area

I've been watching him. They seem to be hit pretty hard, from listening to his description, in the dark. I hope that Walmart stands, where they're seeking shelter behind the wall.
