I really wish we could get the time narrowed down about when the girls were where. I also wish we'd have LE release stills from the surveillance videos of the cars in the area in the minutes after the girls were seen on camera.

In Mickey Shunick's case, LE released stills of Mickey on her bike at an intersection and then stills of three cars (two trucks and an older Cadillac-looking car) that were seen on camera in the area a few minutes after Mickey. They made it clear the drivers weren't necessarily suspects but may have seen something they didn't think was important (but actually was). LE asked the owners of the cars to come forward & identify themselves in case they did see anything that would help the investigation. Two of the drivers came forward & were cleared; the third driver was Brandon Lavergne, Mickey's abductor & killer. The community knew that all the cars except a newer 4 door white Chevy Silverado had come forward. This made it pretty clear Mickey's abductor was likely driving that truck. This put the community on alert to report RSOs & shady acting owners of 4 door white Chevy Silverados and led to tips that brought BSL to investigators' attention. I'd love to see something similar done in Lizzie & Lyric's case.

I know it's entirely possible whoever took these girls was not following them at the point in which they appeared on the security cameras. But just in case, I wish they'd release stills of the cars and ask the drivers to come forward.

My hope (and admittedly a faint one) is that LE has those images, has traced the vehicles and is narrowing in on the perp, whilst treading carefully and crossing all Ts and dotting all Is so whatever they got, sticks.

I do feel there is soooo much extraneous/vague info out there (some of the witness timelines, paddleboats, clothing, etc) that has obscured the essence of the case. Whether this is intentional or not remains to be seen.

I just hope they can solve this and soon.

Anyone remember the name of the lake that MCM said she had been taking Lyric to during the summer before she started working? She mentioned it..I have no idea where to look. You never know, it might come in handy.

When "Big Brother" is watching and listening and following you...what is black is white and what is white is black. They do not want a perp to know what they are doing, so the perp will feel free to say or do something that will get them caught. They definitely want the perp to think they don't think they are the perp. MOO

I dont see that it is so incredible, it may very well not be him, I dont really know because my intuition is not a fact, its just the way my body / mind energy system works.
It is how ever not a story and very much so the truth so help me GOD. Things that are not truthful are not worth speaking because they bring problems and so forth to those who are fanciful or lie, and that my friends is just NOT me.
Yes i did contact DCI and i will call them in the morning along with the tipline as soon as i dig it up.......any one have the TIP LINE handy??? appreciate it my computer freezes up and it takes me forever to post and find stuff thru links :maddening: some times i have to shut it off and restart! :maddening:

When I used the word incredible, I didn't mean it in a derogatory fashion, i.e., that I thought you were lying. I probably should have said amazing, because it is amazing that you have this information to bring forward to DCI. If you don't get results from calling them, call the FBI, local LE, the media - anyone who will listen because not following up on this information would be a big mistake, IMO.

Again, sorry for making you think I was questioning your truthfulness.

She mentioned it in the Nancy Grace interview but the actual lake name was inaudible.

She said they had also been to Bern's Pool a lot.

One in particular, who is homeless and living at a rest area, has some pretty serious offenses...Pretty Scary!

I thought LE had stated that all RSOs in the area had been accounted for and were interviewed. I think this was within a few days of the disappearances, which IMO was strange to have been done so quickly. There sure are a lot of RSOs within the state of Iowa with "whereabouts unknow".

There are only 10 or 11 listed in Evansdale itself. I assumed when LE said that they had cleared the local ones, they meant the ones who are listed in Evansdale. That would be very doable in a couple days, particularly since the time period in question was during regular business hours.

Calling it a lie seems harsh to me. Does Gma Cook think that police tell the family every detail? I'm sure they've been told by now why LE can't do that. Maybe there is video she doesn't know about.

I imagine she is pretty wrung out by now. It has been almost two months and I'm sure the family has been rocked by rumour after rumour. That's enough to try the patience and tolerance of anyone.

This is so good, Flutterflies!

I wonder if one of the mods could put your post at the beginning of each thread, so that posters will always know where to go to find the info.

Well yes, but in the same breath if they thought they had a car or person on video, the family may recognize. They would be the first to see it.
Why play guessing games if some one could ID it.
I felt that they threw the video stuff at the wall to see if it would stick. Scare the perp, see if someone moves. That sort of thing.
It is a slimy mess that no one claims now...

Ok so tonight I decided to come on here because I had not read much lately and I too watched Jv tonight. So I went back on here and I went clear back and didnt find what I was hoping someone could of answered my question so if it is somewhere on this thread i could find it, but this really caught my mind questioning. Its about the video surveillance.

"Officials say they need more information from the public about what to look for in the hours of surveillance footage they have collected."

Can someone answer me, what does that even mean????? I dont know LE you tell us. We cant see the surveillance footage. You tell us what we are supose to be looking for. This statement confuses me.

I have a theory that right after they were seen on the cctv camera between 12:11-12:19, they were "abducted" into a vehicle that could transport the bikes. The bikes were taken to the lake and left there in the trail and the purse placed on the lakeside of the fence. The girls were subsequently seen with the abductor(s) on video at 12:30 somewhere...perhaps a local convenience store. They were taken out of the area and may, indeed, be alive...depending, of course, on who abducted them. MOO

No disrespect meant towards you theory, but how do you explain the dogs tracking the girls' scent by the lake and into the woods?

Ok well thanks for appologizing and helping me understand correctly, it is difficult on a computer i know.....also hey ya know some people would question me & what i say....there are people who just do that or think that way, thats why i answered that way and i admit i did take it as you were in some way questioning it even just a little :fence: but thats ok either way.
And i definately agree with contacting someone who will listen, even if he has nothing to do with the girls, he is still missing per the SO website and dangerous in my opinion.
Thanks again Marilynilpa i appreciate your taking the time to let me know & understand you better.

I'll tell you what is spooky is looking at the MIA RSO List in Iowa and say to yourself, I've seen that face and that face before but where?" I do not live in Iowa but I do live in a state right next door and that is spooky. I have to say Keloland TV has been great about getting the word out every time there has been an attempted abduction in Iowa. I check the updates on that Station constantly on the internet. Yesterday we had a guy go to his children's day care and took his kids out at gunpoint and then went to a stripe mall at CostCutters where their mother worked and he killed a young woman there and then killed himself. This kind of stuff doesn't happen often here but it does apparently more than I realized.

Maybe its time we start checking out what's going on in Minnesota and see if there have been any sort of abduction attempts in that state close to the Iowa boarder or any other neighboring states. We're all keeping a close eye on things in my state.
