People that do this type of thing are complete cowards. The scum of the earth. I'm not going to jump to the conclusion of international terrorism yet, considering it's tax day and there are enough extremists within our boarders that are capable of such an act.

Unbelievable. What the heck is wrong with people? Makes me so sad for all of these families. Mad that people choose to do this type of thing to people. Innocent peoples' lives taken yet again. How horrible and terrifying for everyone.

That's what I've got to say about it. :seeya:My prayers are already being said for everyone...and an extra prayer to LE to be able to determine who did this cowardly act and bring them to justice.

Well.... that's where it gets confusing, right at the beginnings with the times and all. I think. . . we started with Wilma last seeing the girls at 11:30. Please correct me if I am wrong anyone.

Then the cctv video was released and the official time of the girls last being seen was 12:15. I do not know if that is the adjusted time. Mr. P says clock was 8 minutes slow.

I am not sure if they were captured on cctv before or after standing with their bikes in the parking lot, but I am pretty sure it was after the fact, unless the camera captured them twice riding around in a circle??????

Yes, I definitely think Elizabeth could have been at Meyers Lake the day before L and WC, but that is :moo:.

I am not sure what time L and WC arrived at the Collins household. I would like confirmation on that as well.

I am under the impression that the dogs captured both girls' scents at the lake per Sandy Brault, the FBI spokesperson.

I think it is possible that WC may have seen the girls in the parking lot after the cctv video's adjusted time and that the girls were not riding anywhere in particular, knowing their grandma did not want them going too far.

If the 12:15 sighting is WC's last sighting, her timing may be off by a few minutes.

Now, the dogs? Could the alert have been a false positive? Were the bikes staged?

There is a FBI field office in Waterloo, and it is my understanding that there is at least one agent that has no other active cases other than this one.

I am not asking anyone to repeat a statement made in July, nor do I feel that a comment made several months ago is untrue.

But out of all the family members impacted by this horrible crime, I find it unusual that not one of has come forward to demand answers, or to indicate any dissatisfaction with how the investigation has gone to date. JMO

We don't know that they havent, just that they haven't done it publicly. I could see Aunt Tammy or Grandma or even Misty calling every day or two. Maybe even Drew is. But it seems that most of the family has been "spanked" by the public whenever they're in the news, so maybe they are being more active behind the scenes. We don't know that they aren't.

It seems to me that Misty has learner her lesson and is now living her life out of the public eye as much as possible.

And speaking of assumptions, we have no way of knowing what evidence they have. I keep reading comments that state there is no evidence, no trace, etc. Again, we dont know that. We aren't privvy to all of the evidence they've collected. They aren't going to divulge everything.

I don't know about them trusting in God to punish those responsible, as it seems they forgive the perp but also want them to be punished here on Earth:

Me too! They are saying the bombs were at ground level because so many have suffered damage to their lower extremities. I think we saw somebody in a wheelchair with a leg blown off. They have't shown that again. Possible 2 decapitations. Who would want to do this?

In all honesty, as horrible as this is, I'm surprised it hasn't happened more often. There is a lot of hate out there, and I could see an individual or even a couple kooks getting together and planting pipe bombs or whatever in crowded places. Just think of all of the places where crowds gather like this. And in this case, where they gather all over town, its almost impossible for all areas to be secured. I sure hope they catch who did it, because they could get away with it. Prayers to the families.

I would stay in the media's face, just as Tori's mom did. IIRC, she did a daily presser at 1:00 p.m. and only missed days here and there when she was not feeling well. Her estranged husband did some of these pressers with her. Looking back on it, I don't know where she got her strength to do it, but I respect and admire her for doing so. RIP angel Tori S. You have two new playmates and may they also RIP.
