Nathaniel Bevers-McGivney's slaying of 17-year-old Michele "Luna" Jackson was a "terrible" act, "and there is nothing about this case that warrants any sign of leniency from this court," Calhoun County Judge Derek Johnson said before pronouncing the sentence in the Friday, Aug. 15, hearing.
