Officials with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office say they have canceled the missing persons report for Zander McClintockafter finding his remains on Tuesday.

McClintock was last seen on March 31st, 2024 in the Cedar Rapids/Marion area. Officials reportedly found his vehicle approximately 5 miles south of Vinton with human remains at the scene.

An initial investigation suggests that the incident was the result of a motor vehicle accident.
