I wonder if there's any chance he'll end up in SuperMax(ADMAX) prison in Florence CO
MOO but I doubt it. He is not a risk to national or global security.

This case has gotten a ton of attention and maybe he is moved around states a bit for that reason, but he is unfortunately not the first person to kill 4 people. Supermax costs 3x more than max security, it's not worth it for a "regular" murderer

I really just

I posted it a few minutes ago. Always perplexed by two stops in the same state on the same day…
I dunno. I think the news network is speculating without a named source. Doesn't follow that they are not getting close to BK on the driver's side if they really want to see his hands!

Only thing I can think of is that they are making doubly sure he makes it to court/trial.

Moscow, ID has had a sniper attack before. Police don't usually forget.

I totally understand why the police did put a helmet and a vest on him. Good on them.

People in Moscow are likely agitated and unhappy. All it takes is one person who wants to use a gun and be a "hero."

He studied criminology for years, I wonder if being arrested feels anything like he thought it would. He will be surrounded by men, most likely, for the rest of his life. A female defense attorney may be the closest he gets.
I think a person could study all of the books in the world about how to swim, but it won't help the first time you get dumped into the lake.

The courthouse and the jail are in the same building I believe.
Yeah but they still have to enter him into the system....the jail system, and that can take hours. He'll be held in "intake" for now.

I know normally suspects arrested normally see a judge within the first 24 hours for initial appearance. If that's the case here (seeing how it was an Extradition Hearing in PA) then he'll see a judge sometime overnight or tomorrow. But I think that is only for appearance, reading of the charges, and to announce he'll be held (not bondable). Then he'll go back into a holding cell until they can figure out where to house him.

I don't know for sure tho, as this is in ID and quite possible they have their own way of doing things. Plus this may not apply, being such a high profile case. This is of JMO, as I am not an attorney.

He parked in such a way that LE would have had to violate major principles of their own training to stand in the highway. I posted about it a couple of times. It's as if he doesn't know how to pull of the road. He leaves them no space to be on his side.

Doesn't matter - they want his right hand, anyway. And they get it. Eyes are eyes and sometimes a LEO sees more from the passenger's side (for example, both hands of the driver - which they are trained to watch carefully; Dad's right hand is never visible - but it seems to me that the LEO's are no worried about Dad).

They want to see Bryan's hands, and the angle to do that is from across the car - plus it's the only safe place to stand.

I think in large counties, they may have stuff going on all night, but don't think they will do anything here until tomorrow.

I think it’s pretty standard to approach the passenger side on the freeway. Same thing happened last time I was pulled over.

Agreed. In the first video released (the second actual video per what they said) you can barely even see him in the video.

The procedural matters in this case are SO interesting, but half the posts are about a plane landing.

Several of us contended in the last thread that this would be the case (there were signals). But so many people said, Nope, ISP said they didn't know the perp's name. Right - they just knew his car.

Of course they had other info on him, too. But it was well done and the video evidence must be important (second stop was asked for because first stop didn't get his hand so carefully shown).

Also - to all you sleuths who noticed the injuries and spoke about them, kudos. Could still be shadows, but I don't think so.
Bolded: I can't help but wonder how bad those injuries must have been for them to still be noticeable.

Its been forever since I've seen LE stand at the driver side around here. Any time I'm on a busy road, they're on the passenger side.

Great point. Didn’t think about that.

Is it all coming from NN? Is Fox basically the same thing, now, as NN?

I doubt there will be a named source any time soon, but my own intuition says this story is the right one. InSP knew what they were doing and FBI was involved. I am betting. I'll bet a week's groceries.
