I really hope that the roommate knew this was going to be released, and had ample opportunity to prepare herself for what I can imagine will be an onslaught of press requests and accusations. Also hoping she has a lot of support right now. I can't imagine

Maybe I missed it, (I read thru that all rather quickly), but why did the surviving roommates wait until almost Noon to make a call, and then did not make a call to police first? Did I miss something? It makes no sense....the surviving roommate's phone call.
I didn’t see anything about that either

Court Tv is live. Also speculating why roommate didn’t call. We aren’t the only ones.
Just so tragic!! So sad. Not judging her at all.

He was beyond stupid. How can someone be so smart and so stupid at the same time?? I think he wanted to get caught. Tired of trying to hide it?
Also, I can imagine how much suspicion DM was under at first when LE heard her account.
He's neither smart nor stupid. I'd say he's a very very sick human being. I feel so sorry for the victims, their parents and families, the surviving roommates and BK parents and family. At the same time I'm stunned by Police impeccable professionalism in this case.

He did a lot of driving around after murders, went past king rd house multiple times.

So many early rumors were true. I wonder when SG was told the details. Not that it matters, but this guy wears his heart on his sleeve and the details and what ifs are so painful.

I know I’m dreaming here, but I pray he takes some sort of plea deal.

As a legal pundit on TV mentioned earlier, there is no insanity. Defense and Idaho does have the death penalty… Maybe after reading the probable cause they have for him, he’ll take a plea

So Murphy did bark. And he was in another bedroom. I know a lot of people were so curious about this

For all those who questioned LE's abilities and actions... this should answer that. Amazing job.

I’m sure she will but I hope DM has a great support network around her. Her and BF. I’m not sure how you could ever wrap your head around what she seen/heard that night.

Oh wow who guessed that the sheath was left behind? Yall were right and his dna was on it.
I'm guessing he'll claim the sheath had been stolen from him, or he lost it, prior to the killings. "The sheath may have been there, with my DNA still on it, but I was not there."

Was he the door dash driver? Still reading..

Holy crap, they had him identified as early as November 25th. Way to go, LE and FBI!!!

I’m confused why it took 8 hours to call 911. I get being scared but thats a long time and assuming the cell was in room with her.

This times a million. I’m so proud of them.

I didn’t see anything about that either
I am just baffled at what wait until 11am. Especially after they saw the killer leave the resident.

When I was college aged my roommate and I had a peeping Tom. We called the police and went and hid in the bedroom. When the police came sometime later we were so scared we did not answer the door. The police left. Fear had paralyzed us. I would never have thought I would react that way. I can understand what fear may have done to the surviving roommate.

This makes me think that X & M were the intended targets, especially if the other roommate was on the second floor as well...
I don't know, by the way it reads in the affidavit and BCK driving around that early morning, it kinda sounds like he was trolling the area for a place, ANY PLACE, to break into and commit murder. Maybe this is what LE meant by the house being targeted?

Just read the affidavit. It is more chilling and horrible that I imagined, and this is just one slice of what happened that night.
